Can someone summarize the news report on Ho Hsi ... can't access it right now ... the warzones seem to be gone as of last night, does that mean the war is over?

Lucky for you that the newsroom agreed to hand over the following transcript of the story. ;)

The conflict that has raged in the Ho Hsi system since the 26th of December appears to have come to an end, with some confusing reports as to its outcome.

The system appears to still be under the independent jurisdiction of the Ho Hsi Corporation today, who have retained their majority influence over its 25 million inhabitants, but according to Jet Comms Limited, who originally instigated an attempted Federal takeover of the system, the war continues.

Correspondents on the scene have reported that there are no longer zones of conflict in and around the system, so while the overall outcome might be in some doubt at this stage, it does appear that the fighting, much to the relief of the system's population, has come to an end, at least for the time being.

A nice idea, but how long till you get tired of doing it?

Instead of a spinning ship you could look at a program called Facerig on steam.

Why so negative? :) If I got bored of doing them you'd be without the videos, which would only make you no worse off than you were before you knew about them, if you consider them to be a good thing!

The reason I haven't become tired of doing them already is that they're pretty simple to make. I could play with fancy videos and animated characters - it's a nice suggestion - but I'd rather just stick to simplicity for the time being, slowly get better at this whole video production thing, and hopefully keep people informed of player-based and official news in a less "read a bunch of text" sort of way (not that I'm knocking anyone who prefers it that way).

Personally think it's a great idea and great work you've done so far. Keep it up!

I sometimes skim the Galnet News when docked, but not that often. I much more prefer this format rather than trawling through a load of text.

I can dig this approach :D More accessible and immersive than reading text on screen.

If you ever feel like interviewing a pilot from the Lave system from the old days who found himself pop frozen for a hundred and fifty years to find himself here, I'm available ;)
