Theres not (as far as I'm aware) a "turreted brick" meta in the PVP community for a reason, I'm guessing.

Yeah I know but maybe one in balance could be found (Panther should be so slow and "brick" so that it would be hard to use it in offensive purposes except maybe against NPC´s at CZ´s, but it should be very good in protecting itself) , maybe adding enough many "XL Huge" turrets into Panther and giving it enough ammo and power with great accuracy and range, combined with enormous shields in it might make the trick against most lonely gankers / pirates anyway.

And well even if it would not work in PvP after best balancing efforts, against NPC´s it would be fun to finally get a ship back from Elite´s of the 90´s, would make interdictions actually hilarious again after seeing turrets blow up 3 pirate NPC´s apart in few seconds.

I am interested to see where this goes. If Jupiter Division does spin off, what ships would it make? Maybe a Fedneck cannon fodder hauler designed for planetary assault?

It would need at least a dual SLF capability, to give it a chance to intercept incoming and chase retreating craft.
