Game crashes on startup.

I have got the game on Epic Games store for free around a week ago. I have over 25 hours on it but just today whenever I try to start the game it says it crashes and asks me to type what I was doing before it crashed. I have done the following things but I have not got the game working:

Restarting computer
Verified game files
Uninstalled and reinstalled the game

None of these have worked. I've posted this on the JWE reddit and even steam discussions for the game, but I barely get any respones. PLEASE HELP! I really like this game and was trying to 100% every island and I was on Isla Pena before it stopped working.

Please help me I've been trying to get the game to stop crashing for steam all night. It's never done this before and every other game works just fine.
