LostWinds Game crashes when King enters body.

I am playing on an iPad2. In the Resting Place, as soon as the King enters the completed armor, the game crashes and kicks me out. I have tried powering down and restarting iPad. I tried closing the app from the shortcut and restarting the game. I tried many times over with no change. Please help. I miss playing.
Also wondering if I delete the app and download again, will I lose all game data?

Hi Scribbler,

It is unlikely that this is an issue with the game, so it may be that your device is struggling for memory. Try closing down as many non-essential apps that may be running in the background before playing and this should help with performance.

In regards to reinstalling the game. If you do this without first backing up the save files to your device you will lose your progress, so make sure to save that first if this is something you want to try.

Thanks for the advice Ashley. I have 5.8GB available of physical memory remaining on the iPad. I tried closing all the background apps, but it still crashed. Perhaps I have a corrupted download? I don't know what else to try.

If it isn't a memory issue then I'm afraid there isn't too much else I can suggest. You may be right, that the version of the game you downloaded has corrupted somehow, but its difficult to know for sure. If you do try redownloading make sure to back up your save game to your computer beforehand and you should be able to continue from the same spot.
