Game crashing when loading into sandbox zoo

Ever since the update I can no longer load into my sandbox zoo which I have over 250 hours in. It crashes whenever I try to load into it.
I have updated all my drivers, verified steam files and have never downloaded mods. What else can I do so I can play this game again?
Only thing left I can think of is re-installing but I'm scared I might lose my zoo save? Is this a common issue or is it just me?

This started happening to me today. No mods, now or before. Anyone having a similar, or had one?

You can try sending a copy of your zoo file to support to see if they can reckon what's the problem with it. You can find the file at: Drive - users - username - saved games - frontier developments - planet zoo - string of numbers - saves

It sounds like an inevitable file corruption which is why I always use 2 seperate saves for every zoo I work on. One zoo save and one backup zoo save incase anything happens to the first one. Oh the last thing I can think of - head back to where the save files are kept and delete the .zoo_auto file , this could work

Same thing is happening to me. I cannot load a saved game or new game (career, sandbox or franchise) since the update. I've contacted Frontier and sent them my save file. Apparently they are aware of this and are looking into it. So I guess we just have to wait for a hotfix.
