Reluctantly... I'd have to agree. Half the time something or other is bugged for me, whether that be the laborious missions - orcas bearing a pirate's name (but not bounty) - or the random spawns (you know, the ones with the same looping dozen lines of dialogue), seeking luxury ships vanishing off into the either the moment I come bearing gifts. It's all too flimsy.
And NPC's? _A total cakewalk_. More chore than challenge after you've picked off the first few dozen. Neverending conflict zones that pay pennies and have little impact? Why bother?
The truth is, we'll all be summoned to pay for the content that will really flesh out the game (alien invasions etc.). Wings may be on the near horizon, but it's something that should've been included from the get go -- it's a multiplayer game for gorram's sake. Besides, I, like countless others, play mostly on my lonesome, so it's not like i'm waiting for it with baited breath. Same goes for 'community goals', which sports features we were all duped into believing were already in place.
It's all fine and well to say 'come back in 6 months time', but it's an opportunity missed tbh. In 6 months time i'll have moved onto the next shiny thing filled with promises.
Expect planetside pew pew, if it ever sees the light of day, to be just as much of a skeleton.
