Game immediately crashes upon starting it since today

Hey,

Up until today I could start and play the game without problems (save one or two crashes ingame), but since today, out of the blue the game crashes as soon as the logo screen, the very first one appears.

I don't remember having done anything other than built and at the end save my latest Zoo. The only odd thing I remember is that since yesterday evening, the game freezes for a few seconds every time I built a path, but I figure(d) this is only because of the size of the Zoo.

Otherwise I changed no settings, neither in the game nor on my PC.

Reinstalling didn't fix the issue.

Any suggestions? Anything I could post to help? A Crash Report?

This has been an issue since a couple of days out of launch. Out of nowhere, the first time I try to load the game in a Windows 10 session, it will crash--without fail--at the moment the avatar globe appears and the game goes into "connecting..." I found a temporary solution online which suggested you open task manager and kill the process. The next time you try to load the game, it will work just fine. I can confirm this works for me.
 
Tried that sugestion: didn't work for me. Even turned the pc off and on again. Same issue as Comintern1919 sadly enough :(
 
Yeah this has been an issue since launch. I don't fully "crash" per say but the game brings up the globe and then doesn't do anything. I always have to force quit out and restart for it to work.
 
Same problem, but this is the least problem imho, cause after it crashed once this problem is gone until you do not close steam. But the franchise server connection error is a permanent problem for me.

Make sure you send your crash logs through (very helpful for QA team) and report to the Issue Tracker - we're aware of this and working on a fix! Apologies that it's affecting your games :( <3
