Why am I drawn to obvious click-bait threads? When the title declares in absolutes ("unplayable"? Really guy? Come on chum) I should just skip it. I shouldn't read it, and yet here I am 10 second nds poorer and sinking deeper by posting a reply.
Op if I saw you in Open I'd shoot you too you, you.... plug puller!
Everybody look at this guy, he's a plug puller! Shame! Shun the plug puller!
Is that what you were after Op? Your welcome, happy Friday.
Quit destroying my lungs! You're unplayable at the moment.
We need safe spaces for both Open and the forum...
As much as I'd like to see the Engineers removed, you should play mobius rather than pulling the plug.
No, I love OPEN and I love PvP. I would love to get involed in PvP fights during a CG, getting interdicted etc. But it's simply a slaughter festival. There not a tiny chance that I survive in my unmodded ships more than 20 seconds. It's totally f++'d up! Totally.
Before 2.1 or whenever it was, PvP encounters were about skill. I could even withstand and or win in my Python with a good loadout. Now it's just interdiction and BOOM! No chance at all unless I invest another hundred of hours to RNGneer my ships. I simply can't do it. I've other things to do than fullfilling a schoolboys daydream playing games for 12 hours.
This is really a shame. I simply can't play the game I really would love to do it. I don't like private groups and a no PvP action/fight restriction. SOLO is and has never ever been an option for me. I really want to play with other CMDRs. That's why I got this game.
It's called cyanide.

That statement pretty well illustrates the attitude some people have towards other players which is causing all these issues in the first place.

AND JUST TO MAKE IT CLEAR. As long as the game is in hardcore unbalance mode, I simple pull the plug. I had hope that when the devs got slaughtered in their Live sessions a couple of weeks ago in the same way, getting a few meter from the station before they could even think of hyperjumping, they were ripped into pieces. But it seems that the next patch will not remove this or make it better at least. I'm sure there a big player base that simply can't invest another grind season to upgrade the ships via Engineers. For this player base, the game has become a butchery. Come' get some, said the butcher after you entered his little cell in the Diablo dungeon. The Butcher's Cleaver was legendary. : D !
I went to the CG delivering mineral oil in my hyper tuned AspX, looking forward to getting griefers on my tail and having some fun escaping/evading them and still making it to the station
And there was no one there [sad]
Bill
Oh well back to smuggling nerve gas [woah]
I showed up at Tutumu earlier this week and there were a BUNCH of CMDRs in hi-power ships waiting outside the station.... ...offering protection and elimination services to lay waste to any griefers, gankers and pirates attacking anyone coming in for the CG.
