@IBan @Spottedfeather Apologies to say, I think you need a suitable computer to play this game. The probability of the game crashed in the computer is 5%.

In my end, the small update fixed all the bugs that I had brought up.

I am currently waiting for new DLCs before attempting the Southwest USA challenge mode in Jurassic difficulty and the inclusion of Microceratus for the Jurassic World challenge mode in Jurassic difficulty.

It is the faulty dinosaur cohabitation element that prevents the Germany challenge mode in Jurassic difficulty from working.

I’m on a PS5. The game is available at the Sony Store. It shouldn’t be, perhaps...

The loading crashes seem to be specific to the large square sandboxes (and are perhaps linked to lagoons). The devs know where to look and really should be able to identify the problem even if they can’t fix it. At least they could advise people how to avoid triggering it.

That's what I was thinking. I started a new park without a lagoon and played for a few hours. So, it seems to be the lagoon that's causing the crashing problem. I'm not going to chance it...no matter how cool a pool full of loch ness monsters is...

I'm currently on this huge square sandbox map, 46 species, 200 dinos, about 20 enclosures, maybe 15, and 2 mid size lagoons (about 30 lagoon tiles each), no aviary. When I load the game it will take about 3 mins, hear that boom crash sound, but it will start. I've noticed when I have a huge aviary or a huge 50+ tiles lagoon, it will not load and crash totally. Ever since I fixed the 2nd lagoon tho, I do get a crash report on desktop, but it still allows me to keep playing.

Anyhow, keep the lagoons mid sized 15-30 lagoon tiles max I'd say...it's too bad, I like building bigger ones, like 50+, but it's cool.

I've NEVER made a lagoon that big. Maybe 12 tiles or so...just enough for at least 4 animals. Still not taking a chance, though. It seems that every time I try to have even a small lagoon, the game crashed and sends me back to the main PS4 menu. I can live without lagoons...until Frontier gets off their backsides and fixes the game...which I seriously doubt will ever happen.
