Game unplayable both OPEN and SOLO, Frontier please fix your game!

All other games work, I assume? Have you checked your internet connection and your router? I had various problems several months ago, got kicked from the servers multiple times, mission board wouldn't load properly, crashes when entering/leaving super cruise etc. . . . took me some doing to figure out that not FDev was responsible, but our crappy router (which we had received recently, together with an upgrade to our internet connection). Had it replaced with something better, and voila, no more problems.
I have very long hyperspace and supercruise times, rubber banding and stuttering of NPC'S and PC'S and juddering that isn't frame rate drops. I have a pretty high spec PC and a fairly fast fibre optic line. This started after the Sept update. Don't know if these are the problems the OP has though...
Edit: also had two straight up crashes today, no error message, one caused a hard reset. I figured it was graphic drivers and updated the amd drivers and no further crashes, but has never ctd before today.

Yup everything works fine. I also checked my internet speed and it's where it's supposed to be (50 Mbps). When I launch Elite the game keeps freezing and stuttering though.

Sorry but I already spent most of my free time to fill these reports instead of actually playing the game so I'm a bit ed off and I hoped that a link was enough.

Just look at the other ships behavior. If someone needs an evidence of long time to jump into- and out of supercruise or to another system I can also show it...
My computer has 8GB RAM, i5-8300H, GTX 1060. Internet connection is 100 Mb/s, ping is around 6-8 ms. Router is clean. All Internet, streaming, movies, download, upload working very good.

A friend of mine can't even launch the game...some exception error message. My game is running ok but that doesn't mean others aren't having problems.
And Yes...FD need to fix their game...and no, I don't think that is going to happen.

Your RAM is buggered OP, expect page faults accompanied with blue screens soon. If that happens, your motherboard's BIOS probably has a memory testing feature.
