Anyone else is having problems starting the game after the update? I can start the launcher without any problem, had to log in again, and after pressing the 'play' button nothing happens.....

Same issue. Are servers not yet up?
I can start the game, I just can't log in. Almost as if the servers are overloaded for some reason...
Ah so it is not my hardware, good to know. It will be fine soon I hope.
It takes a number of hours for the servers to settle in after a major update, every time. It'll be wonky for a bit, and it'll be fine later tonight/early morning.
I've had two problems.
Twice the game became unresponsive to keyboard input just as I was finishing my bindings.
On the third occasion I was careful to close each section as I finished it, and managed to get my bindings saved.
I then started the game without incident. I'm currently at the Bug-Killer Anaconda. The game crashed towards the end of my first loop round the site just after a data scan, with the message that it couldn't retrieve commander data; and so far I haven't been able to log back in.
Curiously, neither sight nor sound of the Thargoid that keeps you company there. But I may not have been on-site long enough for it to show up.
Edit: Now it's reporting that I can't log in. An early dinner, I think, then I'll try again.

I could play for like 10 minutes and then servers went down like a meteorite. Just can't log in into servers again. Hope those 2 missions I got have enough time to complete.
This is not a new thing...I never play after the game updates till the next day but this time the update was so fast I had to check it out.
Be patient and in a few hours I'm sure it will work just fine as always happens.
Going to play some Warframe meanwhile.
