Game won't start after update

Assigned new bindings, had a brief look at outfitting and then... Boom!

Server status reporting that issues have been detected. Meh.

No chance with probably thousands of cmdrs storming the servers. Yeah i have no work tomorrow so i come back after midnight to try again :D

For me, it brings up the black full screen that suggests loading, then immediately closes with the crash report screen.

At this point I would not even bother trying to play, got in went to outfit my ship and then got kicked out with a transaction server error. They either need to up their server capacity or the new patch has error causing the problems. My guess is its not enough server cap to handle the massive influx of people logging in.

At least most of you are getting connected.

Oculus home failed to install the 7.98G download, and is starting completely over as we speak.

Is the unable to launch the game through the launcher part of the issue as well?
