Gamer Ghost’s Magnificent Menagerie of Missing Game Features

First off this is a very long and extensive written piece on things I think this game could benefit IMMENSELY from. I’m sorry for the lengthy read but every bit of it is gold I promise…

-Attractions:

The Test Run. The option to shut down the Tour without deactivating the building with the added option of releasing “1” Tour vehicle for a Tour instead of activating the Tour Building like normal and sending out the whole fleet of vehicles one after the other.
-
Stop Points for the Jeeps Tours to sit for say 10-30 seconds. Having an option underneath the current option for how close the vehicles come out together also for how long they park underneath it would be better.

The Rex Log-Viewing Gallery from Jurassic World with similar “Biome” or “Enclosure” specific Attractions for other species like Open-Air Viewing Platforms hidden in a tightly-packed assortment of the kind of trees that are considered food for the Sauropods in their enclosures. Having them browse right in front of the guests.
-
Then other Family Specific Viewing Galleries besides “Sauropod Galleries”, like “Pachycephalosaurus & Ceratopsian Galleries” with open Arena like seating to really recreate the Pachycephalosaurus Arena. Having Family specific or even similar Family specific Galleries for at least star species would really give each enclosure a lot more character.
-
Viewing Cages(JP)/Domes(JW) that can be placed inside enclosures with an underground tunnel connecting them to entry buildings that are similar to the Viewing Galleries.
-
Underwater Viewing Tunnels for the Lagoons like Aquariums have.

A Tree Platform/Rope Bridge Viewing Path for guest to walk over enclosures. Would also pair nice with a zip-line Attraction. Would also be great to get the Treehouse from Camp Cretaceous as a building with its own functions that the Rope-Bridge pathing could connect to if we wanted.
-
The Zip-Line Ride from Camp Cretaceous.
Would be great if Sauropods looked at guests going by on them and if Pterasaurs that get free would be extra sensitive to targeting people on them to swoop down and attack.

Helicopter Tours that you can mark a flight path on the map with a pathing system similar to the Tour paths already in game (without removing trees, etc. the path wouldn’t affect the ground just show the path with a red strip or something similar to the tunnel system for the Biosyn Buildings) while adding stop points for it to slowly circle that area 3-4 times before moving on down the path you set.
-
The River Cruise. (JP Novel Raft, JP3 Spino Boat & JW Canoe Variations) Would be similar to the pathing used for the Jeep Tours but like the Fish Feeders would only be able to be placed in deep enough water. Allowing for a pair of canoes to pass through the middle of rivers flowing through enclosures. Being a much more dangerous tour option it should only be in enclosures with less aggressive species. For large predators they would pretty much be a snack floating through their enclosure so what species’ paddocks you choose to have them flow through matters. Also having River Gates for the tour to pass through multiple enclosures like the Jeep Tour with the addition of being able to pass through Aviaries and Lagoons. Like I said though, the species in those Aviaries and Lagoons should matter. If they are large enough they could just pluck the boat or guests from the top of the water. Turning off the vehicle aggression should allow for the boats to pass through any enclosure safely though.

A “Meteoride” Ferris Wheel that gives a large rounded viewing range and a “Bone Shaker” Rollercoaster that can be built up like the Monorail with the addition of Loops and Twists. It might need to have the option to be able to have the track go under, and over itself. Like when you push the track too close to itself it has a snap point to itself that you can toggle “over” or “under”.
-
The Spinning-Egg Ride “The Scrambler” and the Aquatic Park from Jurassic World.

I have to slip in the Gentle Giant Petting Zoo. Even if we could hatch Dinosaurs as babies of only a few certain species there that had a timer that they had to be transferred out of the petting zoo by. With a barn/facility connected that they enter in as babies when the timer is up to be transferred out to other enclosures from as adults. It would add the Petting Zoo we have all wanted and a very interesting layer to raising a select amount of species of Dinosaurs. While allowing smaller Herbivores like Dryosaurus and Homalocephale to live out their lives in the Petting Zoo. Microceratus I believe was another species that could fit in to the Petting Zoo. It would be great if the smaller herbivores did not frighten guests either when they escaped their enclosures so we could actually have those certain free roaming dinosaurs species like in the novel. I think Gallimimus and smaller could fit in that category of herbivore species that do not frighten guests.

-Paths:

Would really like a signed and marked “Employee Only” path for utility and keeping certain sections of the park separate from guests.

Cobblestone & Dirt Paths for different aesthetics we would like to give our park and maybe go for a more natural outdoorsy-looking park. Would really love more nature-park based assets for the DFW.
-
Little wooden bridges that fit over the thinnest strips of water, like only 2-3 tiles thick, that paths can connect to allowing them to cross over water.

1 Ultimate “Main Street” path that is a little larger than the others and a little more intricate. Maybe with the wavy middle-design Main Street had in the film on it with the lights on the side.
-
Covered Paths (Thatch(JP)/Glass(JW) that only smaller dinosaurs could pass under and larger dinosaurs could destroy like fences but much easier would be nice. Even if the dinosaurs couldn’t interact with the covered path they would be nice but having small ones walk under and large ones breakthrough the covering seems more realistic.
These paths would be great for Monorail stops.
-
Elevated pathways that give a second story to a path and a viewing radius on the sides of them.

Elevated Catwalks for enclosures like seen when Owen Grady was on top of the Raptor Paddock in Jurassic World that staff can be seen walking across talking in walkies and marking in clipboards on.

Last would be tree platform rope-bridge paths that can walk guests over enclosures adding another way to view them. Would be great for redwood trees but they would probably have to be different trees depending on the map. Pretty much a building that looks like a tree with a way up to a platform that snaps to the outside of fencing. After the building is placed it would branch out like pylons dropping trees the rope-bridge stretches between. Then when you reach the other end you could make another tree platform with a way down to exit from, or loops it back around to the entrance so the exit and entrance are the same. I think this would be a loved attraction for exhibits also.

-Fences & Buildings:

“Abandoned” Variants of Assets. I know myself, and many others would appreciate the ability to set a building to an abandoned skin like you can change the skin for the Jeep and the Helicopter. Fences would probably have to be a separate asset that you place already in it’s abandoned state because there is not an option like that for them. Buildings that are overgrown with vines and destroyed, but not on fire. Plus overgrown fences with scratches and chunks taken out of them. Being able to place some breaks in the fence like gates would be amazing also. This would make rebuilding the abandon versions of the parks a possibility which is something I really enjoy trying to do because it is much more interesting to explore them abandoned rather than with everything safely in their enclosures for me.
Using the storms kind of works but with the fire on some of the buildings it breaks The immersion of being weathered and in that state for a long period of time... Plus waiting for the sections of the fence and the certain buildings you want to be destroyed is very time consuming and tedious…
Having the ability to place abandoned overgrown assets would really revolutionize certain builds in the game that I know a lot of people try to emulate.

Short Wooden Ranch style fences and gates. They would be short so larger species could just step right over them but species like Dryosaurus, Gallimimus and Triceratops would stay within them as long as their comfort levels are met. If not they would just hop over them or bust right through them with one charge. Would be great for Petting Zoo looking enclosures and Ranch themed builds. More Ranch aesthetic assets in general would be great. Would really like to have a Placable Cabin like Owen’s too. A Placable version of his we can use as a Control Center would be the ultimate.
-
A “Rustler” version of a Response Facility would be a dream. One that is literally just 2 dirt parking spaces for the Jeeps and a make-shift Helipad with some tents like a campsite or something. With Rustler Skins for the Jeeps & Helicopter.
A Simpler version of the Arrival Point and Staff Center, like a dirt patch and some tents or a cabin, along with a Bunker-Like Version of the Science Center would really complete the package. I’d be happy with just the Rustler Variant of the Response Facility though.

I larger bent backwards Concrete fencing like seen around the Rex and Indominus’ Paddocks in Jurassic World.

The Treehouse for Camp Cretaceous that we can place in our parks and run a Camp Cretaceous for our own young guests. It doesn’t need to be anything fancy mechanics-wise. Just a camp for youth that could add to Guest comfort like a hotel does just not as much because it caters to young guests specifically.
-
Even if we can’t have children models of Guests because we can’t have them getting eaten in the game you could make it seem like that is where they all are. I wouldn’t even mind seeing young guests only on these buildings so when there is a Dinosaur escape they can enter them right away and they never really are seen anywhere else except for on this building and the Scrambler, Petting Zoo, etc.
Allowing them to enter right away almost being a part of the building more than actual Guests.
Or even if children just couldn’t be targeted to be eaten that would be a easier work around.
-
Even if it is just the Buildings/Attractions on their own added though I’d be happy.

-Foliage, Water Features & Decorations:

I really like the redwoods… I’m hoping more can be introduced into the game as placable decorations and a paint brush.
-
-(New Oregon and Northern California maps with them would be chef’s kiss. Ones that are Less About Snow. Maybe just a thunderstorm.
A Redwood Forest park with the Golden Gate Bridge in the distance like Jurassic Park San Diego would be a dream come true. A long shot I know but would be a dream come true none the less.
Maps with major cities in the backgrounds like San Diego would be really interesting all around. Say we were capturing wild dinosaurs to relocate from populated areas and you have a whole other DFW DLC out of that. Probably what we all wish Dominion should of been. (Ok I went off subject my bad lol)
-
I’m also hoping for the large umbrella tree to make a return… Those were great assets and I still find myself spacing and looking for them once and awhile when I’m building.
-
More unique trees in general would be a great addition. Along with being able to use trees/foliage from different environments on the same map (Tropical on Desert, Biosyn Valley plants on Alpine maps, etc.) and I would really like Ground Fruit, Ground Leaf etc. that was more aimed for alpine and the other environments in the game to fit in better with those maps. Giving more variety all around.
-
I also think it would be amazing to have trees with branches the Pterasaurs can land on. Or at least the smaller species.

Placable Logs. Lord almighty have we wanted those placable Logs. All different shapes and sizes. Being able to rotate them like the rocks would be great too.

A paint brush and placables for marsh plants like Mangroves, Cypress Trees, Cattails, Lily Pads, etc. for more swamp inspired builds and enclosures. To accompany a marshland map would be even more amazing.=]
-
Natural Flower Beds and other plants of all different colors to differentiate habitats better in large enclosures. Placable or paint brushes but of course some of both would be preferable for more detailed work.
-
Also I know it was a smaller part of the park but having more placable unique plants to create our own botanical gardens that guests can enjoy walking through almost as much as viewing the Dinosaurs adding to their enjoyment and comfort would really add to the layouts of our park designs. We would need things like benches and trash cans, etc. for the full effect but things like the benches, the fountains, a statue of John Hammond, maybe one of Masrani, more skeleton displays, etc. would all be central pieces that guests can stop and admire or relax at. Making it really feel like a public garden and an important fixture in our parks.

LARGER rocks. I mean ones we could make Cliff faces with. We really need these to make some epic builds. It would be great if we could almost fit them inside the curve of hills, and if possible, it would be even more amazing if terrestrial dinosaurs could walk on them along with Pterasaurs perching on them. I don’t mean so large a Brachiosaurus could take a walk on one. More like a Triceratops could step onto and stand on it but that’s about it. But just being able to be perched on by Pterasaurs is understandable.
I really would just like them to have a sheer side to them and be able to nudge them into hills to make Cliff faces. Would really like them not to clip with each other also to make real Cliff walls.
-
Also Stone Columns and Pillars like the Pterasaurs in JP III had their nests built on. (One variation with the nest wouldn’t hurt either). They would also be great to able to place underwater in Lagoons.

Also I’m really hoping we can get little water falls and down-flowing streams with rapids that we can place on slopes and connect our bodies of water at different elevations. The rapids on slopes would be good for a river tour also. To connects different elevations and enclosures.
Water features beyond what we have for enclosures would really spice things up.
-
Plus the ability to connect are water to our lagoons (Just the illusion of, say a River, emptying into them) even if it is just a gate style decoration for the lagoons that look like an opened pillared section Water flows through but the marine reptile in the lagoon is still contained for example.
Just things that can give a more natural flow to the water in our parks and connect things up nice into one river system if we wanted to. (Lagoon fence decorations of all the Exhibit Signs for each Marine Reptile in game would be nice too)

I feel these plants and water options would really change the entire game as far as builds go.

For Decorations we have the ones like I said previously. Benches & Trash Cans.
-
However it would be good to add things like Street Vendors also. Being a tier under Small Amenities and adding another layer to parks. They could snap to the edge of the paths like buildings and Hotdogs, Snow Cones and Balloon Animals could cover the basics for Food, Drinks and Toys to start from.
-
Also Statues like John Hammond, Muldoon, Masrani etc. would be clever additions.
-
Beyond the Spinosaurus we need more Skeleton Displays like the Rex and Sauropod from the Visitor Center’s display. But also Triceratops, Stegosaurus, Raptors, All these would be amazing displays to add to our parks.

-Movie Decorations +Alternate Skins:

As said I would REALLY like some destroyed assets for abandoned park builds like
abandoned destroyed vehicles. Crashed Helicopters, Jeeps, etc. (Also Nedry’s)
Vine-covered and overgrown versions of the buildings so they don’t have to be completely destroyed and on fire to look weathered.
-
The destroyed plane from the Spino in Jurassic Park III we can place. The Big Compounds where they encountered the Raptors in JP II & III. Also the Buried Trailer or whatever that Eric Kirby had been hiding in until he found Dr. Grant.
-
The High Hide, Jeeps and Trailers from the Lost World that Eddie Car supplied (Destroyed Variants Also)

A functional Cow-Crane Raptor Feeder from Jurassic Park that can connect to fencing, and a Pig-Door Prey Feeder that comes out of Concrete Fencing like in Jurassic World.
-
If Compies were ever given a pack hunting animation, a Chicken-Door Prey Feeder like the Pigs for small carnivores like Compies and Troodons would be fun to have also.

Jurassic Park film-style Dinosaur-Enclosure Signs of the Dinosaurs featured in the Novel’s Jurassic Park and not the films. Also for any in the Lost World not in the original like Pachycephalosaurus, etc.
Signs for all the families like “Sauropod Exhibit”, “Ceratopsian Exhibit”, etc. would be great also.
-
and Having all the named exhibit’s signs from the novel on top of that would be even more amazing. “Sauropod Swamp”, “Triceratops Territory”, “Carnivore Country”, “Pterasaur Peak”, “Stegosaur South”, “Velociraptor Valley”, etc.
Even the ones from Jurassic World like “Pachycephalosaurus Arena”, etc. would be incredible. Not to mention Signs for any Attractions added.
-
“Some WARNING! / Dangerous Predator” signs, and dinosaur species signs with some facts like city zoos have in general for the DFW would be phenomenal…
-
Would really like to be able to build more “DWF Nature Park” themed builds. With the option to stop, or play as Rustlers in sandbox mode.

More Dinosaur-Cages like shown in the Malta Black-Market scene of Dominion.

The last one is a little more complicated but, Decoration Dinosaur Nests. A Small Dirt Crater one, a Medium Twigs and Leaf one and Large Dirt and Stone Pit one like the Rex Nest from the Lost World.
They wouldn’t hatch eggs unless you guys programmed them to work like a hatchery which I think would be brilliant for wild parks. But mainly I would like them to be territory anchors somehow that the Dinosaurs would stick around keeping their territory localized to. Just feeding and drinking within a radius of the nest and not further. I do not know how you would make what dinosaur assigned to which nest or any of that but it would make Site-B Maps completely possible. Allowing you to set boundaries without fences while also giving the illusion they are breeding.
I think maybe you would have to have a pull down list of the dinosaurs and choose the specific one. Or had one of the 3 nests as just a skin for a placable connected to the Dinosaurs themselves. Say I select my Rex and choose “Build Nest” and the Nest would then be placable and assigned to that specific Rex or in that Rex’s “pack”. Only being able to hatch which ever Dinosaur the Nest was selected and placed from,

-Sorna Extension:

I was wondering if we can’t get the Compounds as decorations if you could extend Site-B Sorna Map past the Compound in its distance and give it a new complete model?
-
Honestly I really just want the Site B map to extend into the Redwood area from the Lost World.
I know that would make it a gigantic-kaiju-sized map. But if any map was going to be, I think it should be Sorna.
I just think it would be beyond amazing to incorporate everything from JP II & III into one Sorna map.

-Site B Summon:

I was hoping if it wasn’t too difficult to add since it is already in game, is to allow an option in sandbox to fly the dinosaurs in from off screen coming from a “Site-B” instead of needing a hatchery built?
Of course you can just hide a hatchery off to the side and fly them in to any enclosure you want now but, I just thought it would be a good option to have for immersion more than anything with certain builds like very Small builds or DFW builds.

-Another Lagoon Upgrade:

Would really like the Lagoon to be more customizable like the rest of our parks…
Editing terrain elevation, paint tools for corals and kelp, etc. and a little more love on decorations like the new ones added… don’t get me wrong I really am a fan of, and appreciate the new decorations for the Lagoon but, the more I build the more I realize how much less you can do with the Lagoon than the other parts of the parks.

And yes you cleared up the water and we love you for it. However I still can’t see anything through the viewing gallery into the Lagoon. When I’m at the zoo those windows into the underwater areas are crystal clear. I know aquariums are murkier because they are larger but they are still clearer than we have…
I really feel it wouldn’t hurt anything to make the terrain in the Lagoons more customizable and adding paint tools like the surface trees, etc. but for kelps and corals, etc.

More “Natural” railing decorations like logs, ferns, trees, etc.

More large rock formation decorations for the bottom of the lagoon. Water eroded natural stone columns and naturally eroded circular structures like donuts so they can swim through the rock.

also a buoy that aquatic creatures could smack around like a tetherball on top of the water. Giving them a reason to come to the surface and disturb the water getting guests attention.

Finally I would like to address the aquatic elephant in the pool… Lack of character in the actual aquatic creatures.
More interaction animations are really needed not just with creatures of the same species, but other species also. Think of fish in a fish tank. Fish chase each other all the time around fish tanks and that would be a great animation for the aquatic creatures in the same lagoon of different species. Even of the same species honestly. It does not have to end in an attack or a fight but just a chase around the lagoon for a little distance before giving up. I see it in fish tanks all the time and it would add a lot just having that alone.

But we can go so much further than that. Having them interact with her environment would increase it even further. Biting a piece of coral off and carrying it to another part of the lagoon just to drop it like a lot of animals in the ocean do for no apparent reason sometimes. Or rubbing their back on the side of the lagoon wall to get rid of an itch or gliding sideways around the sides of the Lagoon Walls. Or even just sitting at the surface watching everybody walk by or what’s going on above or around the Lagoon.
You can take it even further than that but those are just a few ideas.
Those kinds of things are what’s needed to make the Lagoon as interesting as the rest of the game. You need more interaction between the marine reptiles themselves and the environment around them. Little things like chewing on one of the new sunken ships you added, just checking it out. A lot of little things like that add up.
Decorating the lagoon is important also and having more things to make them unique but the actual animations of the marine reptiles are really where it’s lacking. They need more interactions with each other and with the lagoon itself.

Flying reptiles could really use some love like this also but they are still in a better position than the lagoon is.

-Dinosaur Actions:

Compies being able to pack-hunt Small Herbivores like the Dryosaurus and Homalocephale. Plus Guests when in groups of 10 or more.

Deceased Dinosaurs decaying and leaving behind skeletons when not removed right away that can still be collected (removed) for “research”, but until then, a temporary “Meat Feeder” for a good amount of time that will be considered prey and meat by Carnivores at the same time until becoming a skeleton. Allowing scavenging for flying reptiles and Compies. Also allowing placable Skeleton Decorations out of the same skeleton models. Please make Skeleton Decorations not clip with Feeders making them able to be placed right on top of the Feeders for Wild open Parks aesthetic options. Would be the ultimate to have the placable skeletons turn the metal parts of the Feeder invisible when placed on top of one only showing the Meat of the Feeder. (Still need infinite Feeder setting in Sandbox mode also.)

Territory Anchors. I would really REALLY appreciate territories branching from and around a Feeder for Carnivores instead of the territory shrinking and losing them all the time. Can’t lie that mechanic is really annoying…
It would be better if Carnivores claimed One main Feeder in their territory and defended it from other Carnivores except from the ones in their pack. That would be a lot more life like also.

Sauropod Rework. Sauropods need to be the Units they are meant to be. Pack Hunters like Raptors should only injure Sauropods 8 times out of 10 and should only attack if there are more than 6 of them at least. I think they would have to feel pretty bold to take one on. Sauropods should definitely be able to defend themselves with stomps and maybe tail swipes. Just stepping on most pack hunting predators and killing them when escaping them.
I like that they can be pack hunted and taken down but it should be a major rarity and really should be reserved for genetically enhanced Predators to take them down more of the time than not.
Big Predators like the Rex are understandable but even for them, the biggest Sauropods should be the last on their list to try and take down.

Pachycephalosaurus should engage in real head butting battles. Not where they really harm themselves all the time but with the chance it can happen. Where they will square off for a few rounds of really charging and giving it their all for the role of Alpha.
It doesn’t have to be every time but the chance it can happen would make them feel like they should in my opinion.
Also head butting the vehicles the same way would really make them feel as they should.
Most Ceratopsians would benefit from this addition as well.

The Quetzalcoatlus should have and really be the only Pterasaur in game with a walking animation. All research points to it being on the ground more than the sky and would really make it stand out even further.
Adding this animation to the Quetzal would also give you access to it for any other Azhdarchids that you could decide to add to the game in the future.

All Dinosaurs having more interaction animations between other dinosaurs and the environment around them. Friendly Animations between dinosaurs of different Herbivore species and 1 extra animation between Dinosaurs of their own species to give them just a little more life. Also animations interacting with stones and placed trees. Itching themselves against the side of walls, stones, trees, etc. Ceratopsians sharpening their horns on a tree (or Log =]). The Rex has a animation just for sand. Could Hadrosaurs or another species have one for splashing and playing around in the water? Or the Baryonyx/Suchomimus? I just think having certain animations with certain environments in their enclosures for different species like the Rex has with sand would make them feel so much more alive.

A Stalking Animation/AI for large predators and ones that would fit the ambush-hunting lifestyle. Aimed for certain pack hunters, and for others ambush hunters when on their own solo hunts. It would have them choose to use the cover of the trees to sneak up on prey. Not sprinting to catch them until the prey spots them. I’ve seen mods do something similar on YouTube and it really should be in the base game for us console players. I don’t think this would work as well for hunting Prey Feeders like the Goat but for other Dinosaurs they come in contact with definitely.

A Limp Animation. I just think an animation of a Limp would really add to the injury aspect of the game. Really making you want to get them cared for quickly. I just think of an Ankylosaur smacking a T-Rex in the leg with it’s tail club and the T-Rex just giving up and Limping off. A sustained Injury for too long would have it lay down and not move until cared for meaning it could starve or dehydrate if you don’t act fast.

Dinosaur Territory Luxuries. This could probably go with decorations but I think it should go right here.
I think we should have things like the shade of a specific placable tree, or lush plant beds, or thick dirt patches or sand pits that dinosaurs use as designated sleeping areas and also large stones, even trees and logs maybe that certain dinosaurs use as surveying points for their territory that they will hang around and frequently use and sit on/in.
I can just imagine an alpha raptor sitting on the branch of a dead tree just watching everything going on in her territory. Or a large stone that the T-Rex can sit on overlooking everything in it’s domain. Even a mud wallow that triceratops or hadrosaurs frequents and roll around in.
Those would be great to have in the game. They could also be used similarly to what I stated for nest decorations and feeders as being anchor points for territories that a dinosaur will claim and defend.
There could be many more variations on these and what you could do with them and I think they would add a whole other dimension to the Dinosaurs and Enclosure designs.

The last thing I’d like to add are Prey Size-Preferences for Carnivores. Meaning they will still have the ability to attack everything like they do now. However they initially would avoid Prey that is too small or large until they have no choice from hunger. Carnivores mainly would seek out Prey in their size-preference first and if that is not an option and their hunger hits a certain point under halfway they will target which ever’s size is closest to their preference. I think it would add a lot more layers to Wild Parks and what you can mix and match while keeping the danger present for fights and attacks. The Goat would have to be a separate “One Size Fits All” situation.

-New Maps:

New Gigantic Redwood Environment Maps. Another in Oregon and a Northern California Map. With no snow like I said previously.

New Gigantic Marshland Environment Map. The Florida Everglades or the Louisiana Bayous.

New Gigantic Great Plains Map. Either Nebraska or Kansas would be good. Or maybe in Iowa or Missouri.

And a New Gigantic Island Map where we can see the coastline all the way around it.

-1st Person Mode, Guests & Staff:

Would REALLY like to be able to have a setting that turns on and off the option of dinosaurs hunting you in 1st person mode allowing for some really thrilling park explorations.

Being able to recruit more staff than just scientists. I can’t speak for everyone but, I like being able to customize my staff and I would like to for my Response Teams also. Based on skills like: “Driving Skill, Aim, Animal Handling” giving them better skills for dealing with certain tasks and dinosaurs. There would be 8 “Ranger” slots, 2 per vehicle. Choosing a driver and their partner “the gunmen” for the 3 Jeeps you can have and the Helicopter.

Having better driving skill makes for better path finding and faster response. Aim would allow better accuracy with ranged actions and animal handling would make that vehicle less likely to be attacked. You could go more in depth with more skill but as a base set that would be helpful and fun to customize. Things like “Knowledgeable” allowing for quicker scan times, etc. would be great also.
They would need to rest and get vehicle repairs at the Response Facility like scientists do at the Staff Center but they would have a much longer time between having to rest/repair unless seriously attacked.
The same could be done for Mobile Vet Units making the field work separate from what the scientists do at the Paleo-Med. Maybe having upgraded Vet Tech can let them handle more serious issues in the field before having to fly the Dinosaurs back to the Med Facility. Plus “Driving, Aim”, etc.

Hiring Cleaning Staff, Shop Keepers and Tour Guides for Guest Comfort levels wouldn’t be a bad add in my opinion either.

-Dinosaur Skins & Species:

More Bio-Luminescent skins for the smaller Dinosaurs. Herbivores and Carnivores like the Dryosaurus and Troodons for example. Would be a great option to make them stand out more in the tall plants and trees. Especially the Compies.

And I’m going to be honest. You guys do a great job choosing the new dinosaurs to introduce so besides not getting the Atrociraptors (or yet at least) I have no complaints how you guys have been handling all that. More unique species that don’t look, or are shaped like all the others, with unique ways of interacting with the environment, is all I can ask for. But definitely more Flying and Marine Reptiles to bring up their rosters please.
However, on top of the Atrociraptors I would like to throw Lystrosaurus, Oviraptor & Moros Intrepidus in as additions because I’m a big fan of them being in the game.

I know this is probably the longest post ever and I had to stop myself because I had more but I feel these features would keep this game around… forever… I feel they fit within the confines you’ve set for gameplay and can be incorporated without having to break the game. They would make so many more options for builds and ways to play the game that I feel it’s a must in the long run to get most, if not all of these features, into the base game.
I ask you to please consider these and incorporate as many as you feel are realistic and possible because I for one would love to see this game last for decades even after it’s not supported by Frontier anymore.

So for this long read.

Thank you so much for your time.

Ps. Any Thoughts from other park builders on my ideas are more than welcome. I would like to hear your takes on how some of these assets, mechanics and ideas could be incorporated into the game as well. Hope to hear from you all.

Attractions:

  • The Rex Log-Viewing Gallery from Jurassic World with similar “Biome” or “Enclosure” specific Attractions for other species like Open-Air Viewing Platforms hidden in a tightly-packed assortment of the kind of trees that are considered food for the Sauropods in their enclosures. Having them browse right in front of the guests.
  • Viewing Cages(JP)/Domes(JW) that can be placed inside enclosures with an underground tunnel connecting them to entry buildings that are similar to the Viewing Galleries.
  • Underwater Viewing Tunnels for the Lagoons like Aquariums have.
  • A Tree Platform/Rope Bridge Viewing Path for guest to walk over enclosures. Would also pair nice with a zip-line Attraction. Would also be great to get the Treehouse from Camp Cretaceous as a building with its own functions that the Rope-Bridge pathing could connect to if we wanted.
  • The River Cruise.
  • A “Meteoride” Ferris Wheel that gives a large rounded viewing range and a “Bone Shaker” Rollercoaster that can be built up like the Monorail with the addition of Loops and Twists. It might need to have the option to be able to have the track go under, and over itself. Like when you push the track too close to itself it has a snap point to itself that you can toggle “over” or “under”.
  • LARGER rocks. Would really like them not to clip with each other also to make real Cliff walls
The best ideas in this post imo. Attractions in general. Most of the other suggestions are also spot on
