Gamescom 2019 - Streaming Schedule

I've seen 6 streams so far.

Most streamers unfortunately don't know the planet universe and haven't looked at planet zoo before. Unfortunately this is noticeable. Some don't even know how to remove walls. So far only 1 streamer has built a habitat. I think most people think that you can only manage a finished zoo, but don't know that you can extend it. For me the streams are therefore unfortunately not interesting.

It seems as if the streamer selection was based only on the audience reach and not on the know how. So far only "Rudi Rennkamel" was bearable.
Unfortunately you are so right. It's pretty frustrating to watch most of them acting like absolute beginners in gaming ...

I have to re-watch deLadys. Only catched the last bits and was impressed as how she just managed the whole problems this zoo has. I was betting for no death for the first time, but well... it was close. BestInSlot was as awesome as expected. :) Loved the combination of great management and clear cuteness overload reaction.

Just started re-watching Silvs second stream.

So far my fave streamers stay my faves and I found one streamer I will follow in the future, I guess.

Does every exhibit have to have a separate zoo keeper? Or can one zoo keeper take care of several exhibits?

I really liked yesterday's streams! They were an improvement over first day (which I understand, I bet the streamers were also very excited to play!) and am looking forward to the rest of them. BestInSlot really stood out to me, had a lot of fun watching him.

I really wonder what the motivation of some streamers are to stream planet zoo? Maybe it's because of my job (I'm a texter and journalist), but if I would have been invited bei Frontier to stream a game on my channel that might help me grow, I'd do my research. Some streamers clearly didn't watch official video footage to learn more about the game.

I mean, this could have been a win-win situation for both parties. I understand that the controlling etc. is hard when you did not play planco. Heck, I didn't play planco, because every time I start it I'm kind of overwhelmed with building etc. However, knowing how the job system work or that animals need enrichment however is something you can learn within minutes when watching the official channel.

Sw the streamer who are very new to the game it was their first time and thanks to them we get to watch how its played and they are so many streamer now and its been so addictive! :) And also learning lots to of how to play the game! :)

To be honest, I couldn't stand watching Silvarret's stream. Then he doesn't play Zoo games a lot, but when the bears broke out, he didn't know what to do.

And I was like: fix the fence first, but he apparantly blacked out and left it as is.

Be nice guys i would not what to do either, I love silvarret and all the streamers. Give them a chance we all need to learn to craw before we run! :) Do to others what you like others do to you a very good lesson to learn. :)

I know it's their first time. I don't blame them with getting used to the game. And in not saying names when I do not praise someone, I assure it's not bashing. However, really, getting invited by a company is a gift and a great chance. They could get a lot of new followers. Sitting on your butt for one or two hours to do your research about the game and naming the correct price for it (when you are asked to say it) really isn't much to ask for.

I agree. He also kept mentioning how he's not a big fan of zoo games and not knowing much about them, but only plays them for the architecture. If that's the case, then having him streaming for PZ at gamescom is a little pointless.

It was too far away for Geekism. He's living in canada now. Traveling around the world for Gamescom was not possible, as he stated in some videos. But yes, I miss him and was wondering, if he couldn't get an alpha build and stream from home. He has definately the right audience.

Silv is an ARTIST in building. I was eager to see more of the game and the animals, since he had one of the first streams. But honestly, in hindsight I had a good laugh that he ignored the not-yet-announced snow leopard and was head over heals for an european birch. :D I can never ever stand in front of a birch without thinking of him.

The second stream was awesome. And he knows the planet universe and does not look more at the chat as on the game, so I really appreciate his take on the game. Even if he comes from another core area. (Is that the right saying? Hard to translate what I am trying to say).

There were streams that cost more of my sanity. But as I said, I found 1-2 streamers I will keep an eye on in the future.
