Gamescom Info Dump

It's almost a week left until we see more of Planet Zoo at Gamescom. So...what do you think kind of info are the devs going to dump on us at Gamecom?

Already know: More info on Beta, see new zoo???, probably new animals, and seeing a demo from youtubers.

And that's pretty much it. Any guesses and what you would want to see???

I'm really hoping to see a reveal of Aviaries, but it's probably unlikely and will probably see it in a DLC of some sort. I would also like to see more attractions like a Endangered Species Carousel, 4D Theater, Chairlift of two kinds Gondola/Regular, Safari Boat Ride, and Train/Tram on wheels.

I love this community so much! So very excited for next week! We know we will get more Beta info, I would expect a few more game play mechanics, maybe a new animal or two. Though as it's a demo build, I'm hoping for a new map, love to see the variation in the game.

I'm excited for next week, mainly due to the beta news, as I have a feeling we aren't too far from it. Hopefully its not that long of a wait, and we will have the beta in our hands in a few weeks from now. Hoping the beta is going to be like planet coaster where it won't expire and you can play it all the way up until launch.

If that's what they did for PC, I don't see why they would change it for PZ. Hopefully, once the beta releases, it will just update to the full version on November 5, and we can continue playing it without interruption. Also, hopefully we won't lose any current saves if/when that happens.

I think planet coaster worked that way.. I got that game late, but I heard that the beta lasted up until launch, and supported a save transfer into to main game. I don't know how credible it is, but thats what I heard about the planet coaster beta.

I hope they announce flamingos, as well as show some game play of the tortoise, due to the fact that the tortoise is always neglected in the animal facts polls, as people always vote for other animals that we've seen many times before.. like the zebras in this upcoming poll this week.

Planet Coaster's Beta was only 2 weeks before launch. So everyone who had the thrill seekers edition essentially got the game early with a few missing bits and pieces. The Planet Coaster Alpha was available for those that bought Alpha access for around 8 months before release. This was a completely different experience in that the game was very basic in the beginning and we got to play with limited items and features. But it was a lovely experience to watch it grow and offer feedback. Planet Zoo didn't have an alpha option. But the beta I'm guessing won't be as complete as Planet Coaster's as we are further away from release.
