gamma 1.01 broke DK2 support

Hi all,

since the new update, the right eye of the dk2 is showing completly black textures as opposed to the left eye which is normal.

I have reinstalled drivers, and rolled back drivers, same thing.

anyone else having problems?

Same here, and two threads about this issue have been opened at the same time, here's the other one:

(I'm not allowed to post links yet, hmpf.)

Maybe a moderator can merge them...

Noticing the same. I tried restating the game, messing with graphical settings and no luck. Right eye is much darker than left. It looks like a bunch of lighting information is missing.

(sorry, not enough posts to post direct image)

Pasting from another thread as on tablet.
Does it happen in both direct and extended? I sometimes get lighting imbalance in direct mode (in other apps) but never seen in e tended.

Also after installing the patch whilst I could not connect to the online I did do the tutorials and they ran fine in the rift.

I have not updated to 4.3 yet. Still on 4.2 using gtx670

happens in both modes, direct and extended, I was literally playing before the update was released at 6pm. closed game, did the update and the right eye has extremly dark textures with no lighting since,

thank god it's not just me! I was afraid my rift had broken.. (basically making me cry.) I'm sure they'll fix it immediately.

I'm interested how this bug happened.

I'm seeing increased framerates in station which is a great sign.
I'm hoping FD are experimenting with graphic optimizations for the rift and that resulted in this bug.

So far the performance in stations is greatly increased, i still get occasional judder, but other than that low persistence is enabed where as before it wasn't (only in deep space with noone around)

No issues for me with the DK2

I did have the output set to screen when G1.01 was released though, so you may want to try setting the output to monitor and then back again, to see if that makes any difference.

EDIT - Correction. It's only working OK in the tutorial. Now that the servers are back, I've just checked and the lighting is wrong in the right eye, just as the screenshots below show. So I DO have the same issue.
