I thought it looked weird as a negative amount for value as well, do not be worried as when I bought my Hauler it got used in part ex and gave me the 40,000.

Still do not know why I had to Grind the 52,000 for the hauler before it would offer it for sale when I had the Eagle to part Ex.
You don't go into a car showroom with the full price of a car in cash and then part ex your old one and take the spare cash back home.

I had this and disabled UPNP in the AppConfig.xml file which fixed the problem for me.

Loving gamma 1.01. Played for 10 hours straight today and not one crash or server failure, even while alt - tabbing to spreadsheets and iTunes. Even scrimped up for a type 6. Found an awesome 3 station route in the same system each with 1k profit per T.

And if so, can I choose to store my upgraded sidewinder(my current one), if i buy another ship(ex a cobra) and then use the credit from the sold Free Eagle to upgrade the new ship(not the sidewinder) ?

The negative value of your sidewinder means that you are buying it for -40,000, meaning you will make 40000 profit by selling it. Negative is good.

Best bet if not going to use the Eagle is just sell it at the Station shipyard where it is located, that way you can use the credits for whatever you want plus you can take them with you unlike the Eagle if you are flying the Sidey.

Go in to the shipyard screen and click on stored ships (the station where your Eagle is) then select sell stored ship which should be the eagle.

Did you ticket it last time, and was it closed as resolved prior to 1.01?? If not, then no - undoubtedly not.

If it was ticketed, closed as resolved prior to 1.01 release - then resubmit the ticket...

Oh noes! Does this mean the likes of Aasgay, Kokipik and Fong Wan.g (already banned by the forum filter) are endangered too? How about Suchifuku? Edenapel is a cool one, but could be construed as offensive by a religious nutcase.

The line should be drawn where it currently lies; with the plethora of procedurally generated names there will be many supposedly offensive names discovered. I don't think FD should waste any more time on takedown requests from irascible ignoramuses.

Personally, I'm still marvelling at how it's even possible to search by name, given the size of data set. There must be a bi-directional mapping between the system name and the system's random seed number. I guess the name must be an elaborate but reversible textual representation of the seed. At least, I can't see any other way to do it. If I'm correct we'll likely never see wildcard or partial name searching, at least not of the whole galaxy but perhaps for the vicinity.

I haven't been to Sol yet, but I was wondering if there's any mining going on at the ring around Uranus?

Unfortunately the Effects slider also adjusts the Voice volume.

Agreed, the ship voice volume is way too low now and trying to change the individual audio sliders to compensate for it do not work. It was perfect till 3.9 and don't know why this has been changed or not fixed.

Why can't we sell the modules with the ship?

while we sell a ship, we cant recieve the upgraded module prices. Game takes the ship with upgraded modules, and gives only naked ship price to the player?

This was the behaviour in Frontier and First Encounters too. Either FDEV are keeping in line with those games, or there's a bug somewhere. Did you ticket it?

I have even ticketed this, with zero response to the issue...
