Login Failure at the Authentication Server.

Looks to be something server-side that might be fixed soon, unless they really borked the client login.

yeah whats weird though is that the launcher 'authenticates' just fine... so something is working and something is broke.. i even wonder if 'failed to communicate with authentication server' is really an accurate statement..the launcher connects fine but not after clicking 'play'

I am enjoying 1.01 quite well, other than the connection issues we are experiencing right now. No worries though, FD will fix it soon enough. Looking forward to getting back into 1.01 though to test some more.

for those of you unable to connect.
did you turn off upnp? if so check your appconfig.xml, its all been reset.

I edit it again and put my settings back. Yes the file was changed probably during the updates. Still i could connect without any changes and with upnp off.

For the people who dont know what upnp and what file we are refering to: YOU DONT-NEED/HAVE TO DO ANYTHING.

Cant even get to the start menu!

Initially just got to start menu but 'Start' greyed out, now as the quote above
