Anyone else find it annoying on the Galaxy Map that the box with System Name, Exploration Data etc keeps reappearing when you want it to hide? Be useful if you click into space and it stays disappeared til you click on a system.

I guess the name Mr. Cox is out of the question then. Cox removed is weird though. Sure im not an english native speaker so the name Cox has always been a name and i havent related it to what it sounds like.

maybe it is a cultural thing, like Benny Hill or "Are you being served?" being on the edge.

I can run the client OK but when I go to connect it says servers are down for maintenance or unable to retrieve commander data, and yet my girlfriend is playing OK.

I can get in but crashes every time I enter hyperspace jump!

exactly the reverse for me, crashes as I drop out of s/c

Commodities market connected once, but has failed every other time.
Bulletin board seemed fine
Contacts were fine
Save and exit 'failed to connect to server'.

I'm glad of the update I lost all my credits yesterday. One minute they were there then they vanished. I just logged in and before I was kicked off (server failure) whilst selling survey data, and found my measly 53k was back. So something spooky is going on somewhere. Anyone else had similar issues?

Was about to say that it looks as if they have rebooted the support servers when the Missions and Cartographic servers crashed again.....

Incredibly annoying! Wish they would move it to the bottom right corner or something as it hovering over the system just gets in the way.

Yeah its yet another annoyance more than anything.

Was thinking that the update would allow changing the name WITHOUT clearing as the option in support allowed you to do. Clearing the save allowed you to change name in the original gamma release, but the option to not loose all your gear was there with the support option. That's more what I was getting at with my question...

Now I know why the server would disconnect me when jumping to the Pleiades nebula. I traveled to it in super cruise but couldn't drop to it either.
