No crashes here... Seem to be working fine... but can not get any missions: Failed to communicate with server. Failed to perform mission transaction.
Oh, well... waiting for another patch...

Removing the video's does not solve the problem on my computer... still crashes to desktop
Quick fix for k-lite users:
- In the start menu go to K-Lite Codec pack
- Start Codec Tweak Tool
- Click on preferred splitters
- Scroll down for the .WEBM and set it to "merrit"
- Click Apply and close
- Play Elite Dangerous
sidenote: I didn't change the right "X64" side, just the left one was enough. And I already didn't have vsync on, so don't know if that's needed as well.

i hope they are happy with the crash reports i send them.
counting them, i just reached 40. maybe they're patching to 2.02 with a fix until i reached 200.
I can confirm that after remnoving the Divx codecs AND setting VSync to false in the DisplaySettings.XML file I got the game working again. Would like to use the codecs too though.

Same for me. Although this is a 1st, been rock solid since beta 2 for me till now.

Wont even let me update my client now, just shows this message before it even makes it a third of the way through updating.
Unhandled exception during project update:
Data error (cyclic redundancy check).
Tried updating launcher, restart PC, close any and all other programs, and run as admin. Nothing seems to be working, still getting the same message every single time.

That's why i'm giving up. Its seems to be pointless at the moment.
Yeah maybe melodramatic, but we're less than a week until go live. We shouldn't be having these sorts of issues.
Just heard from my buddy that servers are coming down in 20 minutes - sounds like a hotfix is on the way!
