They totally screwed up. And they do not even communicate ! I am very upset about this lack of communication.
Just a guess, if everything was hunkydory, they would have enough spare time to respond, but you can be sure your post has been read and the sentiment appropriately prioritised. Given the number of people currently affected by the current state of the codebase, I'm guessing there are some very tired devs propping up industries concerned with the various caffeine delivery mechanisms. Given the choice between concentrating on the task at hand or talking to people about it (bearing in mind we, from the outside, don't REALLY know what the problem is, just the symptoms we are experiencing), which would you rather have? Personally I'd rather they not spend time on fluffy PR. And with my DEV hat on, breaking up tech analysis and code reading to spend time on communications can be a significant interruption (and therefore progress blocker)
One curio for me, and it's probably nothing, but my launcher, bottom left, shows "V2014.12.11.53755 0.4.1765.0 [0.4.1755.0 SERVER]". I wonder if the client & server versions should be mismatched?
yep, agreed, so annoyed by this situation. Yet again. To be honest im at a point now where im sick of the fanboy defenders and just want this game to get officially reviewed and the relevant words put out there by industry sites so that the fanboys defensive reactions just get drowned out by a big widespread reality check.
Regarding communication, check the elite forums tracker to see posts from FD employees.

You are right, however, that communication regarding current issues or server outs can be improved.

Calm down. We are decided to be TESTERS and we even paid for it. So accept this.
Let them work on the problems and try to support them with USEFUL information.
When there is a blatant entry on the 'Known Issues Log' I don't see that we need to have more communication for a game that isn't actually released yet.
They're on it - I'd sooner them focus on fixing, not forums.

Exactly, a lot of folks seem to have forgotten this. If your frustration is getting the better of you and you have nothing helpful to give the dev's it's time for you to step back from being a tester. You are no longer part of the solution.
After the patch to Gamma v.2.2 when pressing the start button to enter the game I received the endless load screen problem and could not progress.
I then tried starting a Solo game instead of Open and everything worked perfectly. I played for about 5 hours with no dropouts or any connectivity problems at all.

Hi there. Great work guys looking forward to launch day. ! problem though after downloading gamma 2.02 my game crashes as soon as I select solo. This is the only time ive had issues luckil. I have not ticketed it as it seems to be on the common problems list. Many thanks :~)
I saw a message in-game about the server restarting, could`t read it all because it went away to quick. Maybe let the message stay on screen longer or make it a window we need to click to close?
