Great...now I don't even get to the freezing OSOD...failing to connect to server altogether.....:(
At this rate the "fixes" are going to knock my system back to the level of a TRS 80....or Commodore Pet 2000.


After numerous relogs I finally get to the OSOD and it freezes yet again....sigh...

Me too, game loads, get the Frontier logo then the Elite logo then an error saying unable to access authentication server check you internet connection and try again in a few minute. Well I am postiing here using the same computer and internet connection so that isn't the issue...

At least I can load into the game, but I now crash to main menu 50% of the time when trying to enter unexplored system for the first time.

I wonder if they're shutting down and restarting the servers.. over and over again. It seems to have happened quite frequently since 2.01 and 2.02 :\
Maybe some minor server updates or something.. I don't know.

Think I will give up until tomorrow, hopefully they will give the servers a overhaul and a dammed good kicking.

Maybe they will get rid of the useless White Exclamation mark and concentric circle holo thingies as well, low res battlezone remants from the eighties.

Same here. Think I might retire for the evening and pray(in a none religious manner) for a more stable day tomorrow as I'm back to work on Saturday.

Yes, just wait for 1.01 then everything will be fine.

And of course we won't have the true Elite: Dangerous until at least 1.2

Well, I just managed to get back in and the mission I was waiting to deliver has now disappeared, again.

Ticketed.

Update on wear and tear. Its still whacked after 2.02.
I had no damage and no wear and tear and jumped 40 LY and was interdicted once by a sidewinder. when i docked i had a repair bill for 900 credits? Where did that damage come from? As my shields never went down. The wear and tear was at 1% and it would cost me 4600 credits. if it was 100% then it would be 460,000 credits. I had 333,000 before at 100% prior to patch 2.0 and i have not changed any gear on my ship...

Oh and I also crash at everything I do, Hyper jump, crash, scanning systems, Crash. Sell data, crash. cant take any missions. Cant get rid of my 0 credit worth exploration data. Cant plot a jump course, ,,,,,

RE: SPINNING SHIP PROBLEM

this happened to me in Gamma 1, Temporarily disabling antivirus got it working, adding a Launcher & Exe as an exception was the solution.
using Gamma 2.02 currently with no issues.

this might not be any help in other cases.
