Patch Notes Update Gamma 2.04 incoming

Hi everyone,

Here's a nice Saturday treat for you - Gamma 2.04 is on its way. Here's the change log:

The servers should be down from 2PM to start the update process.
  • Fix for crash in comms UI trying to access objects not yet created
  • Fix crash when finding any star in the "Skull and Crossbones Neb. Sector"
  • Fixed a possible path that would cause the game to crash in hyperspace if an overlay unloaded for some reason
  • Make sure we pass the distance contract string through the localiser
  • Fix an issue with planet classification which should fix the issue with missing stations
  • Fixed a problem showing unexplored planets and rings in the in system map
  • Balance mission type ratios
  • Fix permit and rank missions
  • Prevent assassinations asking you to kill people from their own faction
  • Fix for planets spinning too fast
  • Fix for intersecting binary planets
EDIT - a server side change for you, too.
  • Fix intermittent transaction errors on hyperspace jumps

Thanks Mr. Lewis. It's great to see you guys are hard at work even at the weekend.

I hope that the rest of the small issues that are ticketed get cleaned up before release on Tuesday. I did see that one of my tickets regarding missions still disappearing was immediately marked as Under Investigation just after I created the ticket.
Which is good news.
 
Any chance of a hint about additional ships at launch. Really hoping for a courier class ship either between Viper and Cobra, or Cobra and Asp.

Waiting with baited breath for launch day.
 
Nice! That was unexpected. Looking forward to seeing the rebalanced mission ratios as they've been a bit off this week.
Still hoping we get a fix soon for the war mission's not crediting kills. Really want to get stuck in to those.
 
Ah, thanks from the people on that planet too, they were getting a bit dizzy spinning that fast.

While you at it, the sun appeared 2 days early in a Greenland village, this has nothing to do with it, does it? ;o)
 
Sorry, but can we get the bounty bug, you know the one where you attack a confirmed wanted ship and get a fine, the one you told you had fixed but still happens regardless, get that one fixed first and then move on.
