I must say its quite pleasant to see new game version thread update every couple days. Its like "free stuff with sugar on top" all the time :)

Why cant assassination attempts be made on the same faction. Thought that would have been fine and made for some interesting cloak and dagger events.

are there any fixes for missions ?
I found that sometimes normal supply runs get changed in in a USS by a NPC into a mission 'to abandon the kill run'.
The two were totally unrelated mission.
(not ticketed yet - was too late yesterday)

only good thing was that I got the reputation for it ;-)

Can you give us any hint about the server side ninja change on the slave markets?

Stations with supply of imperial slaves switched to demand around 8PM UTC yesterday

Hmmm. Last night I've gained the "recruit" title from the Federation for doing a non-lethal weapon trade mission. After that, I haven't seen any missions directly from the federation from any space stations and I flew around for hours. Is this fix is about this sort of thing?
