While I would also like confirmation that is is fixed or working I think the expectation that you should be able to fix your rank with a galaxy-wide organization in 16 hrs is a little much. Local factions should obviously be influenced more quickly but something as big as the Fed should take more time - this is a long term game in a huge galaxy with three big major factions.

I am more interested in the balance between negative rep hits for crime and positive rep building via missions and trading. I don't think it should necessarily be 1:1 as that would make it too easy to do bad stuff and then fix it easily and quickly, but it is just a little too great on the negative side recently.

Negative rep should decay over in game time and accelerate the decay time when good deeds are done. Just a thought.

Many thanks to all the devs who are obviously put in lots of hours and lots of hard work. This morning I played ED in my DK2 and came away with a smile on my face. ED feels like the original Elite..but way way better.

What problem are you referring to?

Michael

I think hes refereing to the Conflict Zone Missions where you shoot x ammount of ships, , but then those kills not being logged as you rack them up and leaving you being unable to resolve the mission back at the bullitin board.

What do you think, release is in 2 days and the game is broken with all these recently introduced bugs.

The game doesn't seem to be broken at all to me. I've been playing several hours this weekend and it's running really well - very stable, much smoother with each build. I have only found one minor bug in the most recent gamma and it's pretty minor.

I don't mind losing rep for being a bad guy.. but I was busted for 2 rebel transmission canisters the federal congress asked me to do for them to improve rep.. before I lost the rep.. I was allied with 5 stations.. had the rank of recruit.. so im a recruit but they hate me.. why not fire me.. ive handed in 25+ rep increase missions over 10 fed stations and well over 100 standard deliver missions.. no change.
