Hutton orbital in Alpha Centauri reads 0.22Ly jumps you into s/c - currently hurtling along at 175c with Hutton Orbital still no closer 0.22Ly....hmm strange

Nope...that's correct. It's a LONG way to Hutton orbital. You'll likely hit 2,000c and it'll still take you an hour to get there

Yep... need to wait until speed reaches over 2000c before that starts to move. That's 0.22 Light Year not 0.22LS... Go make a cuppa, watch the News, go out and buy a paper... You'll be back in time.

Hmmm. There's something about Hutton Orbital...

A big thank you to all at Frontier Development for all the hard work of late. Gook luck for release day tomorrow and I hope you guys can get some sleep tonight.

C'mon Frontier, We all know you are on the rush, we are here to support, what can we do to relief that pressure?, just to share our support, what about a canister filled up with delicious pizza?

Cheer up, you are not alone you count in several commanders to take care for the SOCIAL part of the launch date, you are doing a titanic job.

It was a pleasure and really worth every (peso) to boy your amazing product.

Sincerely yours

EXCELLENT (work FD!)!

Only short time in Open now, and only 1 jump to unexplored system from another, but all seems to work and see perfect, stability, no stuttering, no lines through planets anymore, my advanced discovery scanner actually now react to the local star and other objects in system by first try, no stuttering (yet)...

If anything changes I let you know, but if not, seems ready for launch from my part! :)

I hate that station takes ages to get to it. First time I thought easy mission lots of creds then I found out it takes about 30 mins + real time to get there.

Thanks for all the replies guys, guess all that work I've been avoiding I will now have to do - drats!!

see sig... Enjoy the epic trip, I had a chat in supercruise with another 'victim' the other day :)

still connected Navigation page reads Hutton Orbital ).22 ly as does proxima Centaurim & Eden where as Alpha Cwntauri reads 98,734Ls

Quick calculation indicates 98,734 Ls is only 0.003 of a Ly so it's not surprising you havenet seen a change yet. Patience :D

Edit: Oops, fat fingers on calculator meant originally 5 orders of magnitude out!

Gamma 2.06 downloaded.

Black screen for 5 minutes, then stuttering orange ship thought it was going to crash at this point but game loaded.

Grafix very jerky and had to drop down to high setting but to no avail.

Joined USS and got a server error then after four attempts to rejoin only to get the cannot retrieve commander error message I Have rebooted PC and I am about to try again 07

Ok, same problem I was having yesterday. I'm trying to purchase a new ship in the shipyard in Jameson Memorial. I choose the option to buy new ship and sell my current ship and confirm. Then I get the stand by thing for about a second and it goes back to the station home screen and I'm still in my old ship with all my money. The transaction won't go through.

Just a quick feedback after ~1 hour jumping around with a Transaction list full of Missions :

This is good... very good stuff!

SuperCruise latencies - minimal/none observed
Hyperjump latencies - normal upto reasonable
Bulletin Board latencies - low, very nice
Commodity Market latencies - none to very low, very nice
System Map loading - still clearly above average - but acceptable
Observed Network stability - excellent

Apart from some (high-delay) System Maps not showing Commodities availability on Stations/Outposts (?), I think we're doing good.
Especially since I'm reporting from a time right after Release of an Update - never played so smooth right after an Update ever before :)

So far, seeing no showstopper (unless the missing commodities availablity in some System Maps is a more widespread issue, that'd make finding trading stations pretty tough)

-- edit --

Darn! 1 hour wasn't enough I guess :p

Got me a few of these now :
