With posts like these, FD definitely needs to give us a DisRep button. Gangsta slang is the language of Jr High School dropouts, not elite starship pilots.

Altho i hate ''gangsta'' ''language'' I have to be honest there is a real lack of swearing in elite to the poitn were its allmost funny... in the books they drop F-bombs and all that but in elite the worst anyone says is ''space dust'' its a shame... maybe we could get an payed uncut eddition dlc? please?

I always imagined the language in the Elite gameword of 3300 AD would be a mishmash of old Earth dialects, Blade Runner style city speak, and futuristic gangsta slang. I hope it wouldn't be the queens English. Language changes constantly, decade after decade.

That website is just a bit of fun, but if we ever get to hear NPC's talk in Elite at some point I hope Frontier are creative with it.

This.. really only the empire got the mishmash of English + Asian languages seems like. It would be great to have some variations from "English standard". The Alliance would probably be the best place to try that on given the diverse groups it contains.

is there any way to make it where it will translate what you are browsing instead of just only doing one page? I translate the forums but it stops translating as soon as I go to the next page...
