how convenient....but no you're wrong, both have meaning in their own ways....I got fed up of the "don't care" attitude of PvPers so I myself adopted the same attitude.
Yeah, except words have mutually agreed upon definitions. Your pixel space ship only has the meaning you attribute to it yourself.

Not sure what you mean with the "don't care" attitude, if you think it gives you licence to be verbally offensive then I think you are wrong.

as I said "both have meaning in their own ways". If someone doesn't care about the "meaning" someone places on their ship why on earth do they expect to be cared about on a forum? It's pretty bad hypocrisy IMO.

It remains a virtual item with no real inherent meaning, though. I am simply saying you do not have to be uncivil about getting your pixel ship blown up.

I was giving the advice within fleetcomm discord, both in voice and text format... unfortunately some the admins there do no like me and felt I was a detriment to the event before it had even began and I was removed after being in Fleetcomm for a good year now, both PG and Discord, so while I would link my DW2 specific builds I do not have them anymore as they where on the Fleetcomm discord and have been since deleted by the admins.
Aww, that sucks mate.
Trouble is, when you click "join Discord", you agree to participate in any random and sudden banhammer falls. It's a nasty universe. It'd be better for you in the long run if you just accept nasty things can happen without warning, and toughen your attitude so you can withstand these.
But hey, remember - it's just pixels, after all. :)

In my attempts to understand the thought process behind gankers/ganking/greifing/seal clubbing the conclusion I came to was that they "do not care", so I don't care back.

Incorrect, "time" is spent by players in much the same way as a job, not identical but similar, so when something they spent "time" earning credits for get's destroyed by, what can at best be described as, a d-bag. Because "they can", "FD allow it", "they don't care" insert pathetic excuse for deplorable gameplay here. I think it's pretty much normal human behaviour for many to not like what happened and express that dislike. What is not normal human behaviour is to expect civility when committing an uncivil act.

Not saying ALL PvPers are like this, but a lot are and a lot who post on the forums seem to be in that category.

For clarity I'm solo mode only so have had the extreme fortune to never ever sharing space with those who gain enjoyment from another's misfortune at their hands (which in most peoples book is one of the lowest ways a human can gain entertainment). But I can sympathise with those who have fallen foul to their misdeeds.

The interesting thing I think has probably been missed in all this is the individual in persons dedication, because they've left their game logged in for a few days now, as removal from group requires them to log out after the group owner deleting them from the list.

This is something that needs to be resolved by FDev. When you remove someone from a group, the next time they clear instance they should be forced to menu IMO.
Your timing is impeccable Goose4291 ;)

Implemented an automatic disconnect when a player is removed from a private group they're currently flying in

That will be implemented in tomorrow's patch.

I can't understand the mentality.
Probably because they know it's over, they got the completion and the worst that can happen to them now is to get kicked out of Fleetcom when it's no longer relevant? Though I would assume it would put their commanders name on a blacklist from future Fleetcom's ,but I'm sure these people don't care at this point.

Another reason I switched back to Mobius for the final return flight back to where ever it is I'm heading to (still not sure if it's Colonia or the Bubble as I'm currently doing a lot more deep exploration for quite a while longer)...

Why isn't there a formal in-game PG application / approval / kick process? Oh that's right it's sort of duplicated with squadrons. But squadrons are capped at 500. How is it that certain PGs get FDEV personal account restoration, when the terms of a PG are not required to be defined at the formation of the PG through any sort of in-game mechanics? Why isn't there Open PVE? What a damn mess. I guess if you are one of the cool kids you get your stuff back.

A person is helpful and behaves themselves for that long and it's, "Hey, too bad! Random banhammers gonna banhammer."

Sounds like you did him a favor. What a bad attitude on the part of you and that PG.
