Geforce Now with Epic Store version does not work.

I'm in weird situation.

1. It does not working with GFN for android or mac client.
2. But It works with GFN for Chrome.
3. Other platform (android, mac) client working after launch the game on Chrome. ??

It seems that problem is only authorize level on mac client.
So when it passed once, other client could take over the game stream.

Anyway. It's working on my android phone and mac. (thought need some instructions)

LOL

As Fennster said above, I downloaded the GeForce Now app for Android - it usually takes a few minutes to get a free cloud slot (which last for an hour at a time) and then about 2 minutes for the game to load up as it has to do the shader build each time. I tweaked down the graphical settings in a few areas which seems to give me smoother gameplay - I was getting a few stutters with the default options.

You can use an on-screen virtual pad though I’d highly recommend a Bluetooth controller.

Many Thanks for this explanation! I'll look into this.
I'll be in the process of moving house to Oxfordshire for a new job at Aptuit soon so access to ED when I'm at the other house to where my pc is would be a big win! We are moving from South Wales so not exactly around the corner.
Silly question, but I guess there is not an Apple version for an iPad Pro...

Next silly question... I don't suppose it's possible to run a hotas via Bluetooth? 🥳 that would be the cherry on top!

I'll now read this whole thread!

Oh. God. You saved me.

1. Nvdia Geforce now For Mac does not work with Elite dangerous.
2. Nvdia Geforce now For Chrome work perfectly with Elite dangerous.

The problem was Mac Client.

Thanks a lot.

So a stupid question (again) can I run a Chrome browser on my Mac Pro and play ED through that?

Yep with a user Agaent ID changer plug in not just any Mac but any devices that can run chrome and for 1 hour at a time.. for free if you purchased a free version... this will include Macs, IPHONE and IPADs on Apple Silicon...

Board band speed and PING quality of location control access...
5Ghz A, AC, AX Wi-Fi required not 2.4Ghz N, B, G Wi-Fi avoid due to lag and bad ping at wifi hotspots and 2.4Ghz issues...

Play any ware on the planet ( BB support ) Without spending silly costs on over marked up items with even just second hand bargain bin Laptops you wont care on getting stolen or damaged...

Care full, you might end up playing many other free titles as well...

No i-version unfortunately (I’d like to run it on my iPad which has a bigger screen) and I’m not aware of any Bluetooth HOTAS 😁 I’ve only linked a BT pad & mouse to the tablet, so I can’t give you any advice there.

Also be aware that only the Steam & Epic versions of Elite play through GFN - Frontier store version isn’t supported.

Edit: things apparently have changed since I last looked - you can play through a browser:

Sounds like you can only use a BT gamepad so far. I’ll give it a go!

‘nother Edit: it works, but I wasn’t getting great performance- kept getting stutter, freezes and a poor connection quality warning, though whether that’s due to the beta browser version or the current horrible weather outside 🤷‍♂️

I'm sorry, I'm a bit late to this party. I'm considering using GFN on a Bootcamp PC (where I barely run Elite now) or on the mac via chrome as you guys mentioned before.
Just one thing, if you play the same CMDR on PC and on GFN on multiple devices do the data keeps up to date or do you experience journaling issues? I'm not ready to loose my main CMDR trying it out :D

There were some issues on Nvidia's forum related to steam saves, but Elite goes to Frontier servers so we should be OK. I just wanted to confirm with someone that has that experience.

Thanks in advance o7

I’ve successfully used the same Epic-freebie CMDR on my Android tablet and my old laptop - your CMDR save is kept on Frontier’s servers, so you’ll be okay.
