Getting interdicted while in supercruise assist

Hello,

I had just got loaded up with some minning stuff (low temp diamonds). I was in supercruise assist, when I got interdicted, I had NO chance to try and beat the interdiction, it just kicked me out and they killed me and took my stuff. So my question is, can you still beat the interdiction while you are in supercruise assist? And if so how? I have been beating it for years, but it seems that the supercuise assist does not let you beat the interdiction. True?

Yes.
How? I don't know, I just do it, i don't see big difference with assist or without.

Doesn't the assist just pause or turn off when you get interdicted? Thought it would.

It's no different to interdiction without SC-assist. Unless you set the throttle to zero while in SC-assist, in which case yes, you will drop out immediately (even that is the same, but outside SC-assist you wouldn't get anywhere ). Never had a problem. If it was a Cmdr they will probably succeed with or without SC-assist.
