Getting stutter/egg timer display in oculus headset with ED 3.3

I regularly play with a friend.
He lives about 200 miles away from me and we use mumble to chat.

Since 3.3 hit we have both been getting hourglass freezing moments at identical times.
Mumble still works ok.
Problem is not with our game or our internet connections.

It has to be an issue with the servers.

That's a solid data point. Confirms my suspicion too. Hopefully everyone's sessions will be as problem-free as mine was last night.

Had the same tonight when playing with friends. I'd get the freeze and pretty much immediately someone else would say "Game froze". It's not user-dependent, but not all users are affected by it at the same time in the same instance.
Game is unfortunately a bit borked atm :(

Well I’m still getting it, seems worse now. I’m mainly experiencing it when flying low on planets. I seem to be getting it very minute or so. Dropping down detail and pd makes no difference. Still running the cv1 2080ti card and i7 6700 cpu. All updated running latest drivers.

Could it be related to how far you are away from the bubble I wonder. I’m on my way to Sgr a only about 40odd jumps to go, seems to get worse the nearer I am to the center. I bet that’s it.

I've just come back to Colonia from a couple week trip to Beagle Point. Prior to leaving I had the egg timer quite often, especially when jumping system to system. I didn't see it at all once I was well on my way to BP.

Now back at Colonia, and I'm getting the egg timer quite often again. It definitely seems to be related to network traffic depending on your location?
