for those who haven't seen the original Ghost Mine ride, here it is:

The new ride also borrows elements from the original's sister ride, DarkMine, including the flooded chasm in front of the facade and the cliff stall and drop:

Don't worry...the new video will be 1080p. Hee hee!

Still tweaking things...adding some better lighting and maintenance things. Just modified the station to fit the transfer track and train storage.

Yeah, this is looking great, I really like how you managed to create an atmosphere around the ride with your scenery. The natural surroundings are very well done too!

That shot of the station nearly made me spit my tea out. You've captured the feel of the original perfectly. It's just a shame the mine doors don't animate.
Anyone who hasn't seen the Ghost Mine video yet, watch it. It's fantastic.

Fisherman, you are AMAZING!!!!!!!!! I just watched the original Ghost Mine video... I'm speechless. Disney should be paying you the big bucks to work on their Star Wars Land.... Just incredible...

The ride has opened!


WARNING:

Ghost Mine is a high speed, turbulent roller coaster ride through the dark.

The ride contains strobe lights and mist effects.

Expectant mothers; those prone to motion sickness; those who have had recent surgery; and those who have back, neck, or heart problems should not ride.

Loose articles are not permitted on the ride. All loose articles must be stored in a locker or left with a non-rider.

Nice ride, lighting and effects. A very realistic looking ride. Love the queue as well. I need to be more creative with my queues.
