Basically, they butchered a fan favourite Tom Clancy title in favour of pew style PvP multiplayer with loot boxes, totally ignoring the co-op side of the game...I told them that in the survey thing they sent out. Ghost recon was the last bastion of multiplayer co-op tactical shooters in the Tom Clancy franchise, GR Wildlands did it fine...with Breakpoint they not only castrated it, they parcelled the bits that fell off, stuffed them in loot boxes and tried to turn it into the Division with sillier hats.
I uninstalled it a week or so after I played it. I thought initially it was me being Tom Clancy picky since I've always loved the Ghost recon franchise...but no, it's garbage through and through. As for graphics fidelity, there was none...janky 3rd person animations, clipping through scenery, blurry textures and an overall graphical downgrade from the likes of GR Wildlands..it was pretty awful.

I haven't played it since the first couple of weeks after release, Chris. I love Wildlands so much. I play it solo on highest difficulty, iron man style. Extremely exciting.
I just wanted Break Point to be a new, improved and enhanced Wildlands with a new world to explore, improved AI, etc. instead we got an EA style Cash Generating Machine. What a disappointment.

It was a major Car Crash for quite a while but it is slowly getting better. I only played a bit of Wildlands ( I keep meaning to go back to it ) but apparently Breakpoint is far inferior.
I got it with my GPU, I dont think I could actually recommend that anyone buy it, unless it is less than the price of a cup of coffee.

I'd stick to Wildlands to be fair...a few of us regular Tom Clancy franchise gamers tried Breakpoint co-op for a while but it just didn't cut it. We all went back to Wildlands en masse.
