So, somehow I didn't get a Sirius permit even though I did umpteen missions for them from Sothis and have been allied with the Sirius corporation for about a year now. I decided to go back to Sothis to see if I could get a mission from them for the permit along with a few others for old time's sake. No luck. After some looking, I was told that they had to own the station, and Davy Dock was a good idea. So, off I go back into the bubble to Davy Dock. I was greeted with this when I got there:

Suffice to say I was rather annoyed. So now I assume I've got to sit here switching modes until I get the permit, then do the same once I've got the permit to get the invite, then do the same once I've got the invite to find missions for his required commodities, of which he needs 24? I tend to have full Brabenvision, but I thought he wanted people to stop mode switching, hence the removal of the recent skimmers exploit, which, I am glad to say, I never bothered with...

Getting the Sirius permit is pretty easy, just a bunch of reload.
But, getting the invite, that's another thing...
I've reloaded for hours, still no invite mission. The system is in lockdown, so there is only one outpost to delog/relog to have a chance to pop the mission. And I have modular terminals in cargo, so I have little options but stay here and do infinite relog.

I'm not even convinced the invite will pop in the ground settlement, since the two stations are on lockdown because Sirus Free are being about the issue. I've sat there for 3 days relogging during the lockdown with no avail, I even went and killed sone bounties and did a bunch of data runs and still no luck after that. Frankly I'm pretty convinced until the lock down lifts there's no chance of getting the invite, unless someone can prove me wrong with a screenshot at the GROUND station they saw the mission spawn. Which I hope they do. For now I sodded off and I'm doing other engineers in the mean time.

I'm going to exclusively do wing work for the next cycle if the BGS tick tomorrow doesn't end the lockdown. It's just annoying that when the other engis make sense, this is all so opaque and awkward. I've wasted a whole day trying to get this sorted, and I should've had a Sirius permit last year by all accounts.

While you're cycling the various Sirius corp. mission boards, I'd recommend stacking any modular terminal missions you see which you can do, that way you can do two grinds for the price of one, yay for efficiency.

I got mine at Cormack Hub, same system. You could try there if you don't get better luck.
