There aren't any bugs! They are features! :D

But anyways : Ofc constructive criticism is always good, but you shouldn't take this picture as the final one as already said.
I'm kinda hyped about PC :D
And As I already said elsewhere, Keep Calm, we can't judge the Final game yet :D
[squeeeeee][squeeeeee][squeeeeee]Wauw

The shots posted in this thread are from the RCTW beta (unlocked version). They're genuine backdrops.

Im not talking about the backdrop of RCTW, those are final, and it shows. Im talking about the ones in Planet Coaster. Is just elevations done by simple terraforming. Theres probably even no limit to the map right now.

They will fix it for the release. Meaby the release of the Alpha!

Oh, of course they will fix it (fix it is not the word, is just that its not done yet, fullstop.). That was only something done so you dont see infinite sky. I was not criticising PC, I was saying that ive seen people comparing backgrounds of a game that still needs to have them done, and a game that has that part completed, and its like if people thought that the PC "backgrounds" where going to be like that in the actual game.

Ow I understood it wrong sorry.

Got you. Yes I don't even think there is a backdrop yet. Guess they just created one with landscaping tools as there has to be 'something' otherwise it looks odd.

With regards to the comments about the supports:
I think the issue with them is that they're trying to mix to different types together, which ultimately makes them look odd. Corkscrew coasters:

Having all two angle supports also makes it look odd... it's a work in progress...it might never look right though- figuring out at which height it should use a vs a vs c vs d vs e...yeah, there are many. it might even be easier to just give users the option to choose for each track piece when it's being created.
A good mixture, but they're still working on it as well:

I liked the RCTW supports in the Beta 1 weekend too, however, it was confirmed they have been changed as a result of the track editor changes. :(

All glimpses of coaster supports within the PC Dev diary 2 look great, and that's presumably a pre-alpha build...

Woah.. Aren't we getting a bit overboard with the detail control already?

I mean, it's a game. There's limits how many options I'd like to have while playing.

By the sounds of it, maybe there should be an setting: use advanced GUI or normal GUI.

I think it's Vekoma supports: https://www.google.ae/search?q=veko...KHR6YBWEQ_AUIBigB&dpr=1#imgrc=OnrkWXIZUJ_9pM:

They often used cross bracing on taller supports, although even their modern installations seem to just use plain 'A' supports now. I guess the engineering is just more efficient now.

But even though I see a lot of Vekoma inspiration in those supports, it does feel like they're throwing every possible support type at a single coaster...

...but perhaps there is a reason for that. It could simply be that as the develop supports they quite simply are just using one 'set' which features every type of component. Then later on, they can break them down into coaster specific sets that use only the components that match the coaster type. It would be an efficient way to design the system, as it would esnure any combination of support components can work together correctly, even if in most cases they won't need to.

Anyway, it's all just speculation I guess. But given the attention to detail of the cars and tracks, I'm not expecting them to screw up supports in the final release.

Oh I know. This isn't No Limits after all. This game is a WIP- so I don't get 'worked up' over every little thing...besides, the coaster in dev diary did not have such "busy" supports- too many "A" supports- but nothing perfect.

They're just trying to get the core gameplay/mechanics down- alpha is only two months away.

You have to think and compare with RCT3. If it is better than RCT3? Then good, it is an improvement. If not? Then has to be done something about it.
