Good corvette build for farming mats in robigo?

I'm currently using a beluga to run passenger missions in robigo to sirus atmospherics for materials, but i feel like i might be gimping myself by using a beluga. any ideas on a good corvette build? i heard it has the largest passenger carrying capacity.

you have 2 reasonable options, since your doing the robigo run, either the anaconda build Hausers reach to do the one jump robigo run
I personally use this one, i can get from robigo, to sirius atmospherics and back docked from Hussers reach in right around 10 min, depending on the time of the day in i have to come at hussers from above or below because the doc is facing away from me. Due note though, you need to know how to get in and out of stations with out getting scanned.

or on the budget but due to the proximity of robigo mines and the pay, its about the same if not slightly better then teh one jump robigo anaconda.

You cant do the run effectively with a corvette. Its like the worst of everything when it comes to running robigo. I would also suggest doing it in an orca if your in a pinch.

which cabins in which slots? all econ? business? first class?
To answer this question, the highest grade cabin you can put in an optional slot that has 8 passanger slots. Dont worry about anything over that, if you cant fit an 8 passanger first class, fit an 8 passenger business, if you cant fit that, 8 economy.

How do you get in and out of stations without getting scanned?

How do you get in and out of stations without getting scanned?
So thats what the heat sinks are for.

To get out of a station with out getting scanned right when you enter into the airlock, you need to switch to silent running, and pop a heat sink, and then max trust away, the build up there wont let you boost so you just need to slow boat out. When you heat starts to go back up, pop another heat sink. keep doing that until you can enter super cruise then go about your way.

To get into the station with out getting scanned, you need to drop out of super cruise alined with the docking air lock, or damn near alined with it. Before dropping out of super cruise, at about 1.5Mm pop a heat sink, drop out of super cruise, drop into silent running and full thrust to the entrence, as soon as you can request docking do so, the whole time, popping your heat sinks as soon as your heat starts going up.

Your heat while in silent running needs to be sub 15% at all times, preferably never letting it go above 10.

why do you think the corvette is bad?

Huh, sounds difficult... Is it possible to do in something like an Anaconda with a resting heat of ~50-57%?

its built for one thing, fighting, thats it, it sucks at everything else. Espeically for passanger running. a fully fittied and increased range FSD with 5 Guardian boost is still only jumping at 35 LY roughly, tahts at least 2 jumps to sothis from robigo, ontop of that, you are also forced to use housers reach, instead of robigo mines. So you get the jump range of a medium ship passanger carrier, but are forced to use the large station, and your boat is heavy as hell. On top of that, its expensive as hell.

Completes per hour are going to be really low, so as a result your resource gathering is going to also be slow.

TBH if your goal here is to make credits? Do it with a python or one jump engineered anaconda, which ever you like. If the goal is to get resources and materials? Just go to Dav's hope and enjoy all the materials you could ever want and gather at 10x the rate you do with robigo running.

Yeah i do it all the time in the anaconda build i linked up there. Thats why the 4 heat sinks are for. Its really easy, when you click on running silent it shuts everything down save for like engines and life support and you gotta vent the heat through the heat sinks, but its easy to keep it under 15, hell with 4 heatsinks you can keep your self at 0 going in and out of the station.

False. Please stop giving such poorly researched opinions as fact. The corvette is great for passenger runs if you are not moving VIPs.

Corvette holds the most passengers in the game. By a fair margin actually. IF you need to take a second jump, its an additional minute. Not a game breaker and the extra passengers makes up for it.

This post is a bit old and does not mention the benefits of the Guardian FSD however.

If you are running VIPs, then they only travel one per cabin, and the Beluga and Anconda is the best option.

Anaconda is usually considered the all around best for passenger missions except first class. Definitely not the Corvette because of it's bad jump range.

I've done hundreds of Robigo runs and never used a heatsink nor silent running. All you need to do is fly into the station moderately fast coming in straight down its axis line. To leave the station, make sure it's clear, then boost out and keep boosting until your FSD charges up. When doing the run from the outpost Robigo Mines, an NPC will occasionally follow you to the station. It will send you a message about its intention to scan you. In that case you have to use a heatsink to cover you until you land. The NPCs can also drop out at the tourist beacon, but you shouldn't be there long enough to worry about that. Basically, as long as you're quick a d efficient, nobody will scan you. The danger comes when you hang about anywhere or take too long to enter the station. Don't use the docking computer until you're over the landing pad or in the station.

A shieldless Python is the optimum ship for doing Robigo sightseeing missions as far as earnings rates are concerned.
when it comes to the corvette you are not gonna wanna do the robigo in it, as i said its the worst of both worlds when it comes to running the robigo.

OP asked if there is a good build for the corvette to do just that, the robigo, the answer is no, not when compaired to the python or anaconda.

So have i, and i have been scanned before while doing a straight shot. Im not saying its not possible to not get scanned, im saying that by doing it how i said you wont no matter what. Calm down im here telling someone how to garuntee not getting scanned.

Robigo seems like a painful way to get mats... just farm assassination missions, scoop the wreckage and get g5 mats and data from the mission.
To be honest this, robigo is not a good way to get materials, robigo is a good way to get cash if you are in a pinch, or enough to buy a miner and do LTD mining.

If you want mats, i would seriously look at doing Dav's. If your looking for data, i would just go to a distribution center, and wake scan for an hour or 2, then go to a material trader and trade for what you need.

Dav's Hope only has low-tier stuff in any kind of quantity, it's a terrible way to obtain materials these days. It's far better to spend an hour looting random HGEs and trade down for anything you want unless you particularly enjoy relogging and driving around the same base 30 times. That way you keep some of the high grade stuff you've collected as well as filling your bins for the stuff you could collect at Dav's.
