Can anyone recommend a good Empire system/home base for trading, jobs etc? Looking for somewhere that has a good supply, high-tech system, agricultural and industrial nearby etc. Also has good ship and outfitting options!

See Zacuto Ring in HIP 18527...multiple trade runs available from there. I have a couple established routes, sometimes they get listed on Slopey's or Thrudd's but tend to recover well after the users of those tools have flattened the market and moved on. (Huge populations with large supply and demand) It has a fair amount of ships and components available. Missions out of here are also fairly abundant for those allied with the Empire.
Nearby is HIP 16858...Hansen Port, though 250k ls from the drop in has nearly every ship and almost every upgrade for Asp and below. It has several ringed planets with decent bounty hunting.

I've been hanging around Chona (Smoot Orbital I think). Nice quiet Empirical space!

Not neccecerily that system, but the area is good over all. Several good trade runs in the area. Mara has a RES pretty close to station which is why I was there to start with. A couple stations within a single jump that have nearly everything between them, sorry I cant remember names as I didnt plan to stay long.
