I tend to use a single heatbeam and a rapid cannon. not great at distance but can be pretty good close up. but heat beams are pretty good.

i have seen the bug where the disc remains and the power up is actually gone , it never awards it on the second or later through .

no on this occasion the power up disk shattered when i took it , i got to the weapon power up turned to track the player and saw them go through the empty ( edit disk .... how come that isn't moderated ) and drop clean off my scanner , they were using chaff so it was not silent running , i double checked and my stealth was active as suspected .

I have seen this bug, and I think it has more to do with lag/desyncing issues. Was in a match the other day and I watched an enemy fly through the stealth power up and appeared to have not picked it up. The player went stealth and dropped off my target, but I was also able to get the power up a second later. This has happened with the weapons power up as well. Another issue i've run across is the power up appearing as available, even though I know someone has them/I can't get them no matter how many times I fly through. It can be very confusing.

Edited to add: As far as power up issues go, my greatest annoyance is that occasionally on the Elevate map I can not pick up the shield power ups, some games they will just not let me pick them up at all regardless of whether or not anyone else has.

I've seen both "two people get the same powerup" and "powerup appears to be there but nothing happens when you fly through it" bugs.

That maybe because one of them was slightly lagging. Today, GREAT Games btw, but earlier Luggi and I passed thru a shield power up at about the same time. I thought I had I had it, but never got the audio que. Then Luggi Appears at my 10 o'clock in my POV and we are both traveling in the same direction only he is slighty faster being in a Condor and me in an Imp and I didn't know he was there, must of be using stealth at the time. I have noticed that if I pulse my heat beams, say let off every 3 secs and reacquire and pulse again I can beat the lag a little and get a quicker kill then just burning it down, but when I get target locked I just burn away. :D

Man I never have them line up for me to shoot them like that. Its like they were waiting for you to kill the other guy, then flew in front of your guns with a big shoot me sign on them.

Good games curtis, steenpass and feyd harkonnen, really intense stuff. Tried to say GG last match, but figured out you can't in FFA. Reason I was idle for a minute lol.

I think at some point we were so busy shooting each other we let some other guy take the win. The one in the backward flying heat sink popping eagle. I have seen a couple of those popup, fortunately those are one trick ponies so easily dealt with.

Yes, definitely - especially the first part of that ice field game where it was just the three of us about.

Could you see/shoot/be shot at by either of the Kats those first few games, by the way? As far as I could tell I was completely mutually invisible to them and then occasionally my target would explode unexpectedly...

In that match should have been a fourth one somwhere, but dunno where he was :D

I had some engagment with one of those but everything seemed allright. Alltough know that you ask I can't remember that I have seen the other one, but its always possible that I just overlooked him/her.

I have seen this bug a few times. It is quite annoying, especially when the invisible person wins :rolleyes:

Didn't realise you are 4th Prestige... :eek:

You and Oogie was flying pretty good to say the least.

I went all smiley face when I finally manage to get my own back on you a couple of times. :D
