Another old favourite, "Rough Boy" by ZZTop. Maybe the film clip is more appropriate than the song and it doesn't really apply to me either. So, if you have two monitors. One for the game an done for this. BTW, I made my onw Elite Dangerous styled film clip to this song using a red Hauler. As afterthought, it was extremely derpy. So, I'm not sharing that one......

All these songs were chosen for their audio, some of them tell a story, some of them don't, some of them may not be appropriate to you when playing Elite Dangerous.

Almost forgot.....

Slough Feg's "Traveller" based on the cult classic space opera role playing game of the same name. Listen to the whole thing.....

Slough Feg's "Tiger-Tiger" based on a little well known sci-fi novel and poem 'The Stars, My Destination".....

Slough Feg's "Laser Enforcer" For legs only Frontline Solution's squad based missions & solo mode assassinations.....

Slough Feg's "Sky Chariots" A fun song about Midguard's (Vikings) Sky Blades (Long Boats that actually fly under the influence of magic Weird stones ( What might qualify for the ship's power plant if they were actually space ships and not magical flying vessels.) over brimming with Earth-Power. From 2000AD's magazine. Slaine is about a wandering Iron age Celtic barbarian who wields a giant moon bladed axe and his funny dwarven travelling companion, Ukko. Aside from Drunes(Evil Sorcerers), Fomorions Sea demons), Midgardians, Slaine was also opposed to Cythrons, (Space-age Demons from a earlier time.) responsible for the introduction of Leyser-Weaponry to Slaine's tribe. Anybody care to disagree that this song has it's place in this selection of music. BTW, the bands name is taken from the name of Slaine's arch enemy Lord Weird Slough Feg....

Slough Feg's "Trader's & Gun Boats" Might have been written for the "Traveller" album as it's the same subject matter, but it might have been written earlier or later.....

KIZZ's "Love Gun" I know what that means ;-) but always thought it could be a cool name for a ship.....Quite possibly the Eagle.....

A lot of the songs from KISS's repertoire would be excellent ship names, like Black Diamond, Strutter, Deuce, Shandi, Firehouse, Flaming Youth and etc.

I also like put on the official Elite Dangerous sound track often mixing that with the incidental pieces taken from the same soundtrack but used in game.

Laura Brehm's Mayday Feat with that Elite Dangerous video.. I have hard time working which is best, but I like both. Wish I could make Elite Dangerous videos like that. But the camera control really elude me.
I have no idea how they were able to get such good camera angles in that video. I've experimented with making ED videos but nothing was good enough that I'd care to share. Its alot harder than it looks.
