Hah! Yes, it does get pretty toasty with a stock CPU.

As an aside, I checked out the book list in your link and was pleased to see I'd read both the first two - 1984 and Brave New World. Both excellent.

I would recommend always running a temperature monitoring software, such as MSI Afterburner,
I would be careful with this. I wrote similar thing for MSI for Linux (they don't have linux version).
What I found, measuring temperature does +10C about without CPU load. This means it stays at 46C+ when doing nothing.
So don't forget to turn Afterburner OFF after playing the game.
