I had the standalone version for a while and then switched to Oculus Home and downloaded it from there, and always run it from Oculus Home Library.
Recently, I booted up the standalone launcher and uninstalled because I've no room on hard drive but it has still left a bunch of folders under users/appdata/local/frontier developments (and also another folder frontier_developments)
Now Elite runs fine through Home still as Elite is installed in the Oculus folder, but there is no folder titled 'Graphics' where I used to store the graphicsconfigurationoverride.xml document. When I run DrKali's app, it seems to save the graphicsconfigurationoverride.xml doc to the old standalone ED Graphics folder, and not in the Oculus folder.
I therefore have 3 questions I suppose
1) Can I delete all the folders under users/appdata/local/frontier developments and frontier_developments
2) I have a copy of the graphicsconfigurationoverride.xml but as there is no options/graphics folder in the Oculus home version, where do I put it? in the same folder as the graphicsconfiguration.xml doc which is C:\Program Files\Oculus\Software\Software\frontier-developments-plc-elite-dangerous\Products\elite-dangerous-64??
3) How can I direct DrKali's program to update the Oculus folder with the config file instead of the standalone version folder?
Hope this makes sense!! any pointers greatly appreciated
