General / Off-Topic Graphics card doesnt work

My trusting Dell had been extended well past its original lifespan. It had been running a GTX 1050 ti but the hdmi connectot got broke so I replaced the card with an identical spec but different brand. No it doesnt work at all? Im hoping it not because I caused a issue removing it because it was tricky

Any ideas.

Place the card in another PCI Express port ?

Maybe put the old card back and use an adaptor to get another HDMI port... it's worth the shot

So he has to get reimbursed for the new card.

Is it properly seated, is power connector properly seated? Did you change from BIOS system to use graphics card instead of internal graphics adapter?
