Graphics Settings and FPS

What are your graphics settings, your zoo size, your FPS and specs of your pc?

Not quite sure what is the reason for my FPS drop. Was at 30 yesterday and my zoo isn't nearly big enough that i would expect this.
My specs: GTX 1060 6GB, i7, 16GB

Where do you check? Is this an in game tool or a 3rd party app?

I'm not sure mine supports this… but maybe someone else can share their method of displaying FPS
(can't find it in-game)

With all the FPS posts, i'm getting more curious about mine !

Playing 2560x1440p and cant get more than exactly 60 fps. Even when ich change the lock to 144fps in options, the game wont give me more.

When i switch my solution to 1920x1080p (and lock to 144fps) there is no cap.

But im playing with 2560x1440 and 60 fps are enough for me in a game like this. But especially in bigger zoos there are some performance issues. My main zoo has around 200 animals and 5500 visitors. Im playing with 10-20 fps at the moment. Decreasing the settings to low just gives me a few fps more, nothing significant.

I really hope this is a bug and that the devs will addressed it.
200 animals isn't really that much in a game like this.

Its just the same issue like in planet coaster.

As soon as your zoo/park is getting some bigger, your losing tond of fps and even a high-end-PC has to struggle. (Im playing with rtx2080, 16g ram, AMD R7 2700x)

Here a map of my main zoo. And its still less than 20% of the whole map. Playing on ultra settings with 10-20 fps now. Suffering lags and framedrops all the time.

My FPS dropped after the 1.0.2 update.
The size of your zoo isn't really close to big enough for the game to start lagging. Again, i really hope that this is only a bug and that they fix it. Don't really see the point of having such a large map and such an awesome mechanics if i can place only 10 habitats per park and then i'm forced to abandon it and start a new one.

How the heck are you getting that nice map view with the clear icons and what not?

I just took a screen from above - and edited my screenshot by photoshop (putting in the icons). Nothing special, did this in a few minutes.

But its kinda sad there isnt a function like that in the game.

I think ram memory is an issue.
My PC is struggling aswell with 3k guests running around, and 'only' 1/10 of the map used.
My fps on pause or looking at the ground and speed 1 is like 24-36. As soon as I look around, I drop to 14 while moving.

I see my ram usage at 94% at these times.

I agree, your zoo map looks great with the added icons. (y)

A view toggle to turn those on and off would be very useful. Kind of like in Civilization where you can toggle the display of resource icons and such.
