I just watched this, and what I think a small grappling hook for carrying SRVs into the air (at low speeds) could be fun, and would open up a whole new sect for the fuel rats. An alternative could be magnetic rails on bottoms of ships as a part of the cargo hatch which could attach an SRV to be carried around. This would lower your speed to the same as when your landing gear is deployed.
Thoughts? I know this is a complicated suggestion to implement, but hey, it's fun
