Just found myself a binary Earthlike pair. About 1.4 KLY from Colonia.

A rather implausible binary pair of moons in the Pomegranate Nebula provides a nice photo opportunity. Somehow I think they'd have torn each other apart, being that close.

The gas giant in the background has a ring, but as is almost always the case, it is edge-on and hardly visible.

Found myself a bit of niobium on the moon, and tagged three undiscovered Earthlikes today too. A productive day.

Stopped off on the way back to the bubble to do a little sight-seeing. Ancient ruins on Skaudai AM-B d14-138 AB 7 a.

My intent was to land on this moon to effect neutron-jump FSD repairs and park up overnight on my trip from Colonia back to the bubble, but the G-meter read 1.6G at the orbital insertion point and went to 2.5+ during the first few seconds of descent. So I bottled out and parked above the planet instead. I've already lost one Asp to an unnecessary landing in search of photo opportunities. I'll stick with the low-G worlds for now.

Obligatory 'Earthlike from its Moonlike' shot:

A bit of a trek in supercruise for this one: 106,833 LS from the entry point.
