Great example of bad approach to developing Elite by Frontier - Ship Transfer.

The main problem regarding Elite development is enhancing interactions between player and system instead players between players.

Everyone agree that ship transfer is great feature but the way it is implemented is totally shallow. Instead of adding system that allow you to just teleport ships let players create shipment contracts - like in EVE.
-Ship can be packed and assembled again after shipping.-
-Players can move smaller ships in huge ships cargo holds.
-Player can place transport contract and any other player can pickup this contract. Then he can pack ship, transport it and earn money, simple, easy and players are involved.
-Going furthermore player groups can organize escorts in order to transport ships to their location.

Frontier, just look at it: EVE was inspired by original Elite series but currently EVE offer much more in of players interaction, just face it and fix social aspects of game.

Player to player contracts are open to exploitation. Look at the chat windows, where ever you go. They are filled with scam after scam and if after years of this happening and EVE developers still have no control or real punishments for the offenders; what chance does FD have to implement a fair system?

Well its simple. If you place contract for certain ship you need to have that ship.
If you are being honest: Looking for a genuine deal: Then there is no issues with inter-player trading. The issues arise with the dis-honest and the lack of 'justest' for those who have been deliberately ripped off.

Great example of player - player trading is in Black Desert Online. You can only place orders in auction hause. Every offer is anonymous and player can only set price -30% or +30% than the average. Also the tax is taken by faction which control sector. This eliminates unfair players aka gold sellers.

Every system can be safe. Only issue is to design it well.
