Grid Resistors

What's the best way to get them? I understand salvage is one way to get them, sounds interesting, where do i start with that?

Thank's :)

"Best way" as in most efficient way to get a bunch? Defs taking G5 mats to a mat trader. Do you mean an entertaining way to gain them directly? I don't have the answer if that's the case, but could help ya get the answer ya want from others.

Material trader? yeah googling i have seen something about that, there seems to be a distinction between "Manufactured Materials Trader" and "Materials Trader" the former being the one i need, the latter is easy to find, i have gone to them but they don't have what i need, it seems to be the former who i need to see and i can't find them.

There are three types of Mat (Material) Traders, one for each category of Mats; Encoded, Manufactured and Raw. For Grid Resistors you need to visit a Trader for Manufactured Mats. I like using EDSM.net to find Mat Traders as it lists what type they are in an easy to see fashion. Select 'Material Trader' under Facilities. Grid Resistors are a low grade Mat, so you can fill up on them quite fast with higher grade mats. Happy hunting!

Forgot to mention to enter the System you are in into the 'Commander Position' field and set 'Sort By' to 'Distance to Commander Position'. Results show two distance on the right. The upper is the distance to that System from the System you are in, the lower is the distance to the Trader from the Star you'll drop in at. Be mindful of this so you don't accidentally choose a Trader 100KLs out.

Thank you, that is helpful, i'll look at that later, right now i'm refueling over a star and then i'm on my way again, i'll study this when i'm out of the game again. :)

Again thanks for you help.

but they don't have what i need
there is a common mistake with the UI. you have to select what you WANT, and can give what you HAVE. UI looks for many on first view as "trader has 0 grid resistors (for exampel), because they come with 0 grid resistors (the UI shows your inventory, not the one of the mat trader - the mat trader has everything from his speciality manufactured/raw/data).

a direct way to get grid resistors would be shooting ships, and collecting the materials (all my combat ships have collector limpet controllers for that reason) or going for USS. but going for high grade USS and trading at a material grader is much more efficient for any material <Grade 5
