Grind....Grind....Grind....Grind....Grind....Grind....Grind....Grind....Grind....Grind....Grind

I too am sick of the grinding complaint threads. I actually find it kind of hilarious that players are complaining about having to "grind" within a few days after release of engineers that certain assets are hard to find or hard to collect...what, they want to have it all in the first week? Then they would be complaining the game is too shallow and there is nothing to do..FD cant win.

As the op says...you don't have to grind..just play the game....

Imagine I am making a 2000 piece jigsaw. I could rage and complain that I have to "grind" to complete the jigsaw in a day...or I could take my time and complete it slowly over a week.

I love these grinding complaints.

MMOs - killing a million rats or whatever to get a new bit of kit. Not grinding.

Driving games - driving round and round until you get quick enough to rank up and unlock that new car or track. Not grinding.

FPS games - Get enough kills to get that new weapon or armour. Not grinding.

ED - OMG ITS TOO GRINDY!!!!

99% of games are pure grind. Either you accept it and grind away for that new bit of kit, that new car, that Conda or you ignore the grind and have fun. I've been here since premium beta, have little in the way of ships and am practically a pauper compared to most of you. Guess what? I don't feel like I am grinding ;)

... The audience can't be wrong...
I'm sure these guys agree:

Badger badger badger.
Not again...

@ OP: you talk about PvP (i understand you mean more than combat) but i think youre still in denial about how this game works. Even if everyone played in open there is this terrible thing called p2p servers and on top of that a limit of clients per instance. It's a nice thought, one I relate to, but no time soon will it change.
