You can also play the game by just looking at the ship on the main menu, and never do anything else. But somehow, I don't think that's the intended gameplay loop.People grind "to be the best" no more no less.
U can play normal without grind.
Perhaps the day will come and people will realize that a gameplay loop is just a grind which you don't recognize as such. You can also play the game by just looking at the ship on the main menu, and never do anything else. But somehow, I don't think that's the intended gameplay loop.
Yeah but apparently it's our fault to use the tools and gameplay provided by Fdev to play. We are supposed to not see the grind, entirely our mistake.Perhaps the day will come and people will realize that a gameplay loop is just a grind which you don't recognize as such.
So everything to gain anything is a grind in itself.
And FD is really not good at hiding their stuphs.
Can't argue with that!It always do, since 1984. deal with it
Who force you to grind?Yeah but apparently it's our fault to use the tools and gameplay provided by Fdev to play. We are supposed to not see the grind, entirely our mistake.
It's quite the mental gymnastic to make this conclusion, so I'm fairly impressed.
Yeah, the question is: What makes you recognise or not?Perhaps the day will come and people will realize that a gameplay loop is just a grind which you don't recognize as such.

It's a game, nobody force you to even launch it. Yet, here we are.Who force you to grind?
There is a lot of people who dont do it, what are they?
The tread its about grind, not launchIt's a game, nobody force you to even launch it. Yet, here we are.
I noticed. It's not about forcing people either. We are talking about a gameplay loop which is grindy, and poorly hidden as being grindy. The tread its about grind, not launch![]()
The game.Who force you to grind?
Your "comfort" is subjective.The game.
Too much EHP makes high CZ not fun so I need to upgrade my guns to do somewhhat good damage. If I am on the night side of the planet I want to use night vision cuz torch is awful. Stock scope for 'sniper rifle' is trash, so I want to have a good one. If for some reason I want to change any of engineering mods on any of my gear I have to start from g1 or if I get lucky g2 or g3.
The game forces me to get best equipment to play with some sort of 'comfort'. If you are ok with everything that's fine. I'm not. A lot of people during alphas told about how massive and bad grind is, and it's been reduced a bit for upgrading, but that's not enough. Now we have engineers that require even more grind.
On top of that we don't have separated categories for mats so I just can't spend a month on grinding everything and forget about it for a year like I did with EDH mats.
So is yours.Your "comfort"
no correlationSo is yours.
If you think about FPS, with a few exceptions like the Stalker series or Far Cry 2+, there is no grind at allPerhaps the day will come and people will realize that a gameplay loop is just a grind which you don't recognize as such.
So everything to gain anything is a grind in itself.

Yup, RNGesus and Grindalf works hand in hand ! As it should be.Its much faster just waiting for Thursdays and flying around on shuttles to every moon, planet and station to try grab some already engineered gear
