Ground CZs reward Manufacturing Instructions

Right now, the best way to get Manufacturing Instructions is farming data pads at Impact Sites. This is fine, and I don't care about that, but I would like there to be a more interactive way to acquire them.

So I propose that doing CZs will reward you with Manufacturing Instructions. Low CZs will give 1, Medium will give 2, and High will give 3. This will still be significantly slower than grinding them at Impact Sites, but will allow players to acquire them by doing something actually gameplay interactive.

Hopefully, this will make the game more interactive, and more engaging.

If you really wanted to make this particularly interactive, you could do it by adding occasional 'special' Capture Points, and when you capture them, they give you the data. They could be a different color, to indicate they are especially valuable, and since most players tend to ignore the capture points and instead focus on killing enemies, it could be a nice change of pace, making capturing an enemy-controlled point more important.

Thoughts?

there are number of missions that give as reward manufacturing instructions up to 5 at once per mission. But I agree that there should be a radical change and grind rediction for all forms of engineering.

I love the idea of winning CZs will give you material rewards. But instead of manufacturing instructions, I am actually having trouble of finding Weapon Components and other stuff - which are more rare and hard to find (I tend to find more Manufacturing Instructions during last patch which feels weird). Plus, weapon components will make sense to be rewarded at CZs since there will be plenty of damaged and unusable weapons after the combat is done to loot around - perhaps even allow people to loot weapon components from defeated enemies with a potent gun or a specific gun (like kinetic since hey are the ones requesting the most weapon components for upgrading) and other stuff that would make sense of being around a person's inventory- perhaps looted from their backpacks - like titanium plates for "repairing armor".

Just have the base activate after a victory and give us a chance for some loot.

I really like this idea, tbh. Have the lockers be full, but be 'locked down' or something similar, while the CZ is active. Once your side wins, you're given level 3 access and can loot the base!

That basically replaces my idea, honestly. You don't need to reward data directly if players can find it throughout the base afterwards!
